Might not be popular opinion but I am not completely sold on him, yes he's scored 7 goals in his last 10 games but the record is deceiving with 2 goals against Juve and 4 against Pescara. Outside of that he's managed 1 in 15 appearances this season... Don't get me wrong we should definitely keep tabs on him but he needs to prove he can score more consistently. 10 mil was what Napoli offered for him and IMO that is the absolute max we should offer especially considering he has less than 2 years left on his current deal. But if it came down to getting him or putting that money to use for a bigger name like say Dzeko at this moment in time I would take the latter option.

Still would go for Lewandowski, Damiao, Jovetic (why the hell not trying), Muriel, ... I'm sure all of them will provide much more than Dzeko in here. They all wouldn't want 6m in wages definitely. And their prices would be a bit more expensive. But not that much as the 25m City wants.

Fiorentina want 30 million for Jovetic. Spurs offered 16 million pounds for Damiao and got turned down. I've heard 20m thrown around with Lewandowski's name. Muriel will probably go to Watford if they get promoted imo.

If we really want, and of course if we get CL, imo Lewandowski is quite possible.

He refused new deal, so he will be sold in the summer for sure. Since he has 1 year till the end of his contract, he will be no more than 20 (Kagawa got sold for 17? and had 2 or 3 years till the end of his contract).

He earns 2 mils at Dortmund. He asks for 3. If we offer him 4, CL football, and something around 15-20, we can definitely have him. Bare in mind that all those that could have him before us are already stuck with CFs, so i dont think that they will bid.

So, we show amibition and CL, little money, and he is ours. And he is the best we can get, young, relatively cheap, quality...

According to German papers Man Utd have Lewandoski all wrapped up for a deal in the summer. Fee will be 18mil and he will earn 4.1 per season.

Yeah. They have van Persie, Rooney and Hernandez. What the fuck Lewa would be doing there? At least not playing.

And I'm sure we wouldn't be offering 4m€ net salary to this guy. Come on, we've reduced every even remotely bigger salary and this guy hasn't been playing in Serie A. Palacio is getting 2,5m€ and I would count more on him than Lewa. It would be a massive gamble.

They also have Welbeck, who gets picked because of what he offers the team outside of the box and he is the only striker they have with pace.

Hernandez is the 4th choice so if they get Lewa, he will be available and tbh, i think he'd be awesome in Serie A. If Inzaghi can succeed, Hernandez will score loads.

Edit: On 2nd thoughts.......my money is on him going to Bayern!!!
