4 Premiership titles, 1 champions league, a host of individual awards (including the World XI - which Cassano's never even been close to?)...

How is Rooney better than Cassano? I'll sum it up quickly:

199 goals in 447 matches.

He's 4 years younger than Cassano, scored twice as many goals, played more matches, won FAR more in his career, capped more, scored more internationally

Just simply BETTER. All round.

I'm not a United fan, if anything I'm a Liverpool fan - but I don't really give a shit about english football

However I am rational enough to recognize a good player when I see one. Cassano's a very good player, Rooney is a great player. He'd walk into any side in the world, and is simply better than Cassano by a long stretch.

Cassano is great player, in his time worlds best talent, but his head problems made him never reach his potential. He is half the player he could have been, now it's too late.

As for Rooney.. Lol @ guys underrating him. He is world fucking class, complete player. His finishing is one of the best in todays game. His passing is close to world class, last season he played most of the time as fucking CM, never whined, always contributed. Versatile, hard working... How can someone say he is overrated is beyond me..

English fans/media might make him better than Messi.. But fans who dislike the EPL might make him worse than Vucinic. The normal human effect i mentioned above. People tend to underrate EPL players because they think they are English and are overrated

No. Rooney performs week in week out for United, thats enough to make it obvious he's world class.

And, yes, Rooney would. Which is why City chased him when he handed in his transfer request, which is why he does play at United, which is why Real Madrid chase him...

barca is the only team in the WORLD where you can argue whether Rooney would walk in or not. All the other sides, however, he would easily walk into.

And, yes, I think Rooney would be played as much as, say, Fabregas, Sanchez. I wouldn't actually be surprised if they played him over Sanchez, but thats just a highly theoretical argument now that isnt worth talking about.
