And Pazzo? He'd be our super sub? THe thing is, i don't think he will agree on that...

he was only bought because milito was injured/out of form, not as a replacement. and i think he knows this

sneijder, we should just sell him... Get Fab!

sneijder is a true elite, world class player, and you think we should get rid of him? :nono:

If he was brought to cover, he would be on loan like Kharja and Naga, but we signed him instead. He is a long-term replacement for Milito which I believe will leave Inter in this summer or next.

Well if healthy Milito starts and doesnt score in 1-2 games, Pazzo will come in. As I see it, Milito has lost his mojo.

Well didnt Zampa price Cavani at above 25m? And he ended up giving him to Napoli on a loan with a 16m redemption clause.... because all other teams got the players they wanted...

And I dont think anyone will pay 50m for Pastore...30m tops. Otherwise he will stay there and crib by the time next summer arrives.

Pazzo will start against teams that we will push in front of their box (mainly small teams, or most of the home games)

Milito will start against teams where the striker should join to the gameplay, should dribble, should pass etc.

It's quite easy to see.

Except that last season Milito could not dribble or pass worth shit...

Yeah, i mean an average Milito (if he can find a form somewhere between last season and this season form).

Why not? He will still get plenty of playing time, he just won't be a sure starter (he shouldn't be a sure star anyway imo).

Let's hope we can get rid of Milito...

IMO in paper it's better to get Nasri than Sanchez cause he can play as a CM, AM and in the wing. Our priority should be the midfield, and with Nasri we may cover with one player two needed positions. We should get another CM (Banega) and 1 DM (Diarra or Fernando) and we're set.

-------Pazzini-------
Nasri----Snj---Eto'o
---Cuchu---Diarra/Banega---
Naga-Samu-Lucio-Maicon
---------JC------------

or

-----Eto'o--Pazzini----
---------Snj---
-Nasri--Cuchu--Banega--
Naga-Samu-Lucio-Maicon
---------JC------------

so no starting spot for Zanetti ?!

lol, maybe instead of Nagatomo or Maicon if he leaves. But he should play as a fullback, not in the midfield.

idk ... ur suggested line-ups after this seem to be good ... but i think the modern game is based on having effective sidebacks ... and Zanetti will effect one of the offense or defense if he plays as a SB ...

i would prefer playing an offensive-SBs strategy and adapt the other fields to it .... imo these are the best strategies nowadays ...

We overload in attack anyways with Leo's tactics... soon even JC will try to beat a forward all by himself.

regardless other top teams .. but it would be much better to have 2 attacking SBs in the line-up ......
u can think of NTs for quick example...

but i guess this move will demand a 442 system or 43xx system .. the 442 system is far from possible atm in Inter ... while the 43xx is well known here ... and actually it's not very good with this squad ...

so, a defensive SB won't be bad if the manager is willing to play a 42xx strategy ... but it won't be a world-class strategy ....

maybe something like this would be possible .. ?

.......Milito..........Pazzini............Eto......
.......Sneijder......................................
.........................................Zanetti.....
......................Cambiasso....................
Defensive....Ranocchia....XX....YN/Maicon

OR

........................Pazzini............Eto......
...............Sneijder..............................
...Cambiasso......Playmaker.......Zanetti...
Offensive....Ranocchia....XX....YN/Maicon

Milito or Pazzini in point. These 2 can't play along, especially Milito not as winger

I agree, that's why I put Zanetti on the bench in the first place. I don't want him in the midfield, he doesn't shine there, is not his best position. If we're going to play 2 DM, then it's better to play with Diarra or Fernando than Zanetti. We need someone fast to cover a lot of ground in the midfield and Zanetti is not that man anymore.

I think, if we need an offensive strategy we can use Nagatomo and Maicon. And if we want to be more cautious Zanetti can play instead of Nagatomo.
