Anyways, I was strongly against the idea. Why ? Because it made no sense, taking into account our genuine interest. Beeing a sub for bisquits, and a first team player at Inter, is no brainer of a choice, for a 26 year old player in his prime.

Who could thought we will offer some scraps for him, and will not be interested for real. So with us out, and Mascherano who already said what he said openly, he probably thought, it is better for him to sit on the bench at Barca, than to stay at Liverpool where some fans already got turned against him.

It is actually true. He was linked to Milan first and now it seems that he's linked to us.

A Chievo director confirmed Inter's interest in him to SS24 but he also said that the guy is not moving anywhere until June.

I seriously hope this talk about Kaka is bs. The guy is still valued around 40-50 million. He didn't play proper football for over 2 years and he has serious health issues. For this amount of money we could buy Banega and Sanchez at once.

If the management really pulls this off I'm convinced this will be one of the stupidest transfers in recent years for Inter. We are booked in his position with both Sneijder and Couthino not to mention the later will get 0 playing time if this happens.

I know this is off topic but I got the same feeling about Afellay.Instead of being stater and a star with us he chose being a Pedro,Messi and Villa sub in barca

It is common sense. Unless you believe football players ain't human, so we can't try to understand their reason ?

Just because the scenario that had 10% chance of happening to me, exactly because of the fact that Mascherano would sit on the bench (as it happened), was the one that occured, doesn't mean, that my logic was wrong in sticking with the 90% scenario.

How many players who are at their prime, who play a major role in their teams (that are one of the top teams in respected leauges) leaves this team, to become a sub in other top team ? I think not many, is it not right ?

So how exactly I was wrong, with believing that this scenario is very unlikely to occure, if our interest was genuine (which it wasn't) ?
