Don't forget we have Biabiany back this year and he's basically a poor man's Elia. Arguably just as able to beat a defender and from what I've seen he's faster. However he shits himself when it comes time to finish or play the final ball. With some work he will be a very good player for us. He can be next in our new trend of youth team players in the first team. We'll be Barca in no time! Not really but baby steps.
Bale, hasn't played as a left back in a while. He is like Vargas, a left back originally but so bad at defending he's now a left midfielder/winger. He's young so there's still hope for him however.
Montolivo, He's good but I doubt he leaves Fiorentina, plus Rafa has his heart set on Mascherano therefore we should give him what he wants. Seems as if he wants to do the Brazil thing, 4-2-ALL OUT ATTACK! So in that case Mascherano would be our Melo hence him being the back up purchase.
Elia, I like the idea. I only wonder if he will have problems adapting to Serie A. No doubt he would be dynamite in the champions league. Like his directness, we don't have an aerial threat so we need someone who's not trying to beat around the bush.
Ozil, I see why everybody likes him but for me Elia is the better purchase for the wing and Elano the better purchase for the back up Wesley position. He would also get in the way of Coutinho.
Kolarov, still the best option for a left back. He comes with a killer left foot and Serie A experience.
Taiwo, Don't know him that well, from what I've seen he's fast and has a cannon left foot, good start.
Mascherano, Elia, Rannochia, Kolarov. Kjaer is going somewhere, Zamperini admitted it, I would prefer him to Bonucci.
