Garrone confirms miha is a candidate for the samp job.

How happy I would be if that would had been true.:D

The reasons being that we would be lacking one more option and the hope would still be there for one more season with Mourinho and that my friend, would had been the best solution.:star:

We have done great this season but we need one or two more season/s with him to give the team a proper foundation for the future and it is a worrying factor that we would be changing a coach, just when it seems that our competitors are going in the right direction ??

In my opinion, with Mourinho we could have planted a seed to a tree in the coming few seasons. Instead, we will kinda have to start from a bit of scratch. Not really a scratch but still. Damn, I am gonna miss Mourinho.:wallbang:

Isn't it amazing that all the papers and news are covered with - "Mourinho to Madrid", "Mourinho to sign a 3year contract with Madrid", "Mourinho to take Maicon, Kolorav, Milito with him", etc INSTEAD OF "How will Inter play", "Pandev or Balotelli", "How will Robben be contained", "Will there be a surprise line-up from Mourinho" etc etc.

It is understandable that our formation and line-up is kinda fixed, with the exception of Pandev/Balotelli; yet how I still want to wish that Mourinho and Inter have let this "Mourinho to Madrid" speculation flow in the open air to leave the team alone. I know Mourinho is kinda destined to leave, yet I want to hope; also thanks to the lack of quality coaches around.:finger:

Hopefully Miha signs with Samp.

I would really like to give a chance to someone important on our 86-90 team, Matthaus, Zenga, Klinsmann. Next Baggio and Bergomi, they should start taking lessons.

Our competitors going in the right direction?? I presume you mean our european competitors since neither milan or juve have done any moves that are convincing me.

We will see by 17 July what direction the club is taking. Reason why I have 17 July as the date is because its when preseason starts, we might know sooner if the coach we are taking isn't tied up at the wc.

Hopefully is staying,doudt it.

No Milan player
Well i was lazy reading all the posts, but honestly If Inter wins the CL, i'm sure that mou will leaves. If we dont than he will leave 80%.

Capello is good choice but personally i dont like him.

Prandeli is ok, but also delio rossi could be nice choice.

He made 3rd place with lazio (very poor team at that moment), with the same team very solid performance in the CL. This season great performance with palermo.

Or maybe to wait WC to finished and choose .......

I dont know , no one like mou but 80% he leaves

if we win tonight and mourinho leaves i think we should go for some good young manager, i would prefer Blanc most but it seams that isn't going to happen, but there are other options who would stay here for some time and try to bulid great team on current squad - buy or include from primavera some young players that will grow with years and replace players like zanetti, materazzi, samuel, cordoba, stankovic, cambiasso,... some of them sooner some latter. - All I want to say if we complete our dream of winnig CL IMHO we shouldn't spend all money to repeat success - bring expensive manager and some players with one or two playing years left(like gerrad), we should try to build team to repeat success in couple years.

Io ora vado in vacanza. Magari no, ma voglio vincere i campionati in tre nazioni diverse".

mourinho's words at the end he says he wants a great coach for inter that he loves this club forever. Capello will be the new coach of inter I'm sure of it.

from inter.it

MADRID - The Coppa Italia, the Scudetto, and now the Champions League. For José Mourinho, adding the most important trophy at club level is "a fantastic emotion."

"It's all fantastic," said the Inter coach after lifting the trophy to the sky. "The Champions League is special, winning it is special. It's a dream for everybody: for Moratti, the club, and the whole of our incredible family.
"The most difficult opponent was Van Gaal, but the match was decided by details, like Julio Cesar's saves and Milito's goals. This is a final and it's an incredible joy for all the Interisti.

"Eto'o was fantastic tonight. He always wants to win, as a striker, as a goalkeeper, as a full-back. Milito is the man of finals, but everyone deserves credit tonight, from those who scored the goals to those who didn't even play a minute, because we are a family. It's beautiful.
"I feel great sadness, but now I have to be as cold as possible. History has been made here now, Inter won't be the same as before now. The percentage of me leaving is higher than that of staying."

Guys, prepare for a loooong summer... :(

I have so many emotions right now I really can't think straight, but if Mourinho leaves, it is imperative we appoint a new coach when the World Cup starts AT THE LATEST. We must be ready for the preseason which will start shortly after the World Cup....

I don't know who will be our new coach, but I have faith in Moratti and our management that they will continue thsi project and will not pick anyone they don't think isn't able to do the job.

Also be prepared for our players to be hounded by clubs this summer...I wouldn't be surprised if Mourinho and Real Madrid come after us also...we must stand strong.

FORZA INTER! WE SHALL OVERCOME!

Regardless of who we get, it better be someone good. Maybe I'm fooling myself, but I wanted to believe that Jose was using the Real rumors as a smokescreen to get attention off of our players during this tense week.

We have great players, great management (Ibra transfer!) and we're not content on taking anyone's table scraps anymore. We better not be going with a Zaccheroni-caliber coach!

We are not Porto,we have a strong president like Moratti and finally we achieved international appeal,so I don't think that we must prepare for something that won't happen

Wouldn't mind seeing Hiddink as our coach, anything other than capello. I'd even take benitez over capello.

Very true.

I'm not saying we WILL give up our players...I'm just saying to be prepared for all the rumors saying our players are wanted by this club, all the mind games, etc...don't you see the transfer window hasn't even officially started and rumors are already flying that Milito and Maicon could possibly leave...

We will go through just what Chelsea went through when Mourinho came to us...that Lampard and Drogba would leave....that they were wanted by Inter, that they didn't like Chelsea anymore, etc...

I hope that with our new appeal and success, we will attract some big names this summer.
