Good post Yoko.

Interesting stuff from Recalcati. But he's been wrong for so many times. :D

Everyone (media) seems to have their own opinion on this, Benitez, Mihajlovic, Capello, Hiddink.... I think there's a good chance Jose will stay for one more year if we win CL, the guy is a winner and would surely like to have the chance to get more trophies to his CV (Euro supercup and Club WorldCup).

Anyways, we'll know our manager by the end of next week the latest.

Latest rumours regarding Mihajlovic, he's been spotted in Genova, where he'll be in talks with Sampdoria.

Sounds so goood! Don't want him at Inter at all.

I understand the club however if they are taking Miha in. They want a yes man who would continue Mou's tactics, be a little more media friendly and let Moratti and Branca really drive the project. I really hope thats the plan with him.

i think so too, they want to continue with Mou's tactis. That can only work if Baresi remains as assistent.
Baresi is Mou's pupil for 2 years, so he must already learn Mou's tactic and we can continue his 4-2-3-1 next season with Eto'o and Pandev as defensive winger

to do that, inter need a yes man coach, only Mihajlovic and Zenga can do that.
A high profile manager like Capello, Hiddink or Benitez will bring their own tactics and philosopy, also their own coaching staff, they won't follow mourinho's tactic

also Miha was on mancini's side for more than 3 years, so he must already learn his tactics very well.
maybe they think with Miha and Baresi, inter will have Mancini and Mourinho combined together

Technically, Hiddink can manage both Turkey and Inter at the same time... he has done with before with Russia and Chelsea.

I'm absolutely against that kind of idea. Hiddink went to Chelsea just to be a substitute Scolari who couldn't manage his task. He was there for under 6 months. Inter manager needs to be a full-time coach for the job.

I am glad that the Champions League final is tomorrow coz that would mean that Mourinho would officially declare his decision by Tuesday-Wednesday and we will get our new coach within the next few days. It is not about players where we can wait till the last minute of the transfer market but we are discussing about a coach of INTER !! Almost the whole transfer saga will kinda depend on our new coach, especially if it is Hiddink kinda.

Please stay Mourinho is still what I would be saying till he officially announces his decision; otherwise I would be tempted with a coach like Hiddink for his so called goooood football and mainly coz of his good and quality experiences.

well cafe, i am kind a split here. Hiddink running both Turkey and Inter is still better than Miha IMO.

Of course, Capello if he is free and willing to take the job. Prandelli or Blanc would be better than Miha too but they both are gone now. To be honest, if Mourinho leaves, we are kinda FUCKED.

I have said that it's Blanc or no one else. But, considering that it seems likely that Mourinho will leave and my preference is destined somewhere else, I need to rebuttle. I don't want Miha NOW (or probably never, as I still consider him a biggot), nor Zenga now. The latter is for the future, and when he has proven himself a bit more.

Capello can go fuck himself for all I care, so he'd be the worst choice ever. If I see him on our bench, I will just hope he gets fired.

My name (outside of Blanc) is a complete outsider and won't even be mentioned. It's Marco Giampaolo. I've loved this guy ever since his stint with Ascoli, and I'm still relishing on the chance of seeing him in charge of a proper club.

Please, Moratti, please just not Mihajlović. And before some of you guys attack me for being anti Mihajlović for his nationality I’m going to quote one post:

I don't mean to make this about politics but this is really worrying me:

1. As a player he was one of the nastiest, most disgusting footballers. He called Henry a "fucking black monkey" in English in front of all the world to see. He spat at Adrian Mutu.

2. He is known for his fanatical, ardent support of Slobodan Miosevic, you know, the genocidal maniac tried for war crimes!

3. Even some people in Belgrade called him a national disgrace. When Belgrade warlord Zeljko Raznjatovic, aka Arkan, was gunned down in 2001 and indicted for war crimes in Bosnia and Croatia, Mihajlovic praised him in the press and self-identified as a member of Arkan's paramilitary group, the "Tigers", that carried out mass-killings all over former Yugoslavia. He wore an undershirt to the next Lazio game with the word "Tiger" written on it.

A team's manager is in many way a represnatative of the team, of its culture, its ethos. If Miha had these deplorable views but kept them to himself, it would be "less" bad. But he is an outspoken neo-Facist. Of course it matters and it should matter. I don't want a club I support to be associated with people like him. I barely stomached it and I don't want him back. Furthermore, people from all around the world support Inter, what kind of message does that send? Imagine if a confirmed neo-Nazi starts managing Ajax, what kind of outrage would that create? What do you think the whole campaign to stamp racism out of football is about? Marketing? This is a real and systemic problem and giving the keys to one of the most illustrious and prestigous football clubs in the world to a confirmed racist, neo-facist, genocide-apologist, is not a step in the right direction.

I don't care if he has a record better than Mourinho and Ferguson combined, there are lines, principles that shouldn't compromised, one of which is football is better off with less people like Mihajlovic in it.

It really would be a sad day if he, or someone like him, manages Inter. How can a team that had Giancinto Facchetti as its president and Javier Zanetti as its captain associate itself with an individual like Mihajlovic?

PS: He defended Totti after the Coppa Final

This is Mihajlović, and it has nothing to do with the fact that he is Serbian. If he was from China and did and said all this shit, my reaction would have been the same. And some of you guys here questioned whether Mourinho’s behavior damages team image. And what about this guy and his past? I just can’t image having him as a coach, and likes of Zanetti or Cambiasso, and other Inter icons in the squad. They represent everything that makes this club so special, dedication, loyalty, HUMILITY, professionalism, and Mihajlović is just too controversial when it comes to his non sporting political views.

Also, and of course not less important, I firmly believe that he is far, far away from being ready to lead Inter. After possible treble? Are you kidding me? What did he accomplish? Saved Catania from relegation and managed to beat Inter (Muntari :D) WAU, bow down to all mighty Sinisa. There are at least 3 or 4 more talented coaches in Serie A if Moratti chooses to go in that less-experienced-new-project-younger-manager direction. Allegri, Prandelli, Gasperini, Spalleti…

Leonardo anyone? The guy overachieved with this Milan squad, and Galliani and Berlusconi didn’t help him at all btw, selling the best player, and not buying practically anybody in return. Also, Milan played some nice football during some parts of the season; Leonardo seems like a very nice guy who has built amazing relationship with his player.

If Moratti decides to hire top notch manager after all, I must say Capello is by far the best option, but I would even be thrilled with Benitez as long it is not Mihajlović. And Benitez is pretty much very, very low on my list. :D
I just hope this doesn’t turn in some political debate, I really don’t have any problems with Serbians in general (for example Stanković is one of my favorite players) but just with the individuals like Mihajlović is.
