Radu is very solid, he is the younger Chivu. He's not that flashy but he defends very well. He's a LB/CB, not left-wing back. He is already valued at 15m Euro according to wikipedia...
Criscito would be probably our main target, he's italian and I remember we were intrested in him in the past. Only problem is his asking price.

30 years players ARE OLD TO BUY! He has 2-3 good years if perform and that's it, you can search and cash another one.

If he doesnt perform or aging too fast you are fucked and can pay his sky-high salary. We must out of this 30+ circle.

We need younger who also can be sold if needed. (e.g. Chivu this year the last time)

Yeah, we were close to Criscito in the winter transfer market and in the end bought Nagatomo instead. I do see a chance of Maicon finally leaving us and in that case, we MIGHT need a good replacement:

(1) Santon still has to prove
(2) Nagatomo can play there (not great, not bad)
(3) J.Zanetti is there
(4) Aguirregaray (whom we have always been rumoured to but he is unknown - atleast for me So, was Maicon but still )

How good is Criscito actually ?? Some people say he is overrated ??

Agree with Stefan, it's an interesting thought since Clichy is a solid defender but with the addition of Yuto and Ranocchia this winter and Samuel's comeback it seems like more of an overkill. I think we have enough good defenders (actually great defenders) and we should not be thinking of bringing anymore at the moment. We need to focus on our midfield and offense and Leonardo should fix the defense with the current players.

I wouldn't mind changing Clichy with Chivu, wages would be lower as well. Naga can move right and we can sell Maicon. Therefore we have as starting fullbacks Naga and Clichy and as replacements Zanetti and Santon. Would be really nice imo
