the ranocchia deal is something to forget... yes he is the dream signing but we have to be realistic, genoa would need a replacement and they wont have enough time to fetch one.

Money and players will play a big role. There's enough time between now and january to organise something.

Not saying its going to to be easy but is a realistic option.

In case Ranocchia could not be bought in January,I like Agger as second option. Sky talked about Ruiz of Espanyol too but I've never seen this player,have you ever seen this guy in La Liga?

Genoa will be very relucatant to lose him they are struggling big time in Serie A, I think we should go for Agger or Barzagli if that's the case. To the people bashing Barzagli, he isn't nearly as bad as you guys make out and he's still better than the current Cafe or Matrix IMO.

Balzaretti has been very good when I've seen him with Palermo. Haven't watched Palermo consistently so it may have been a fluke.

I'm not familiar that much with Bolton but for what I've seen Gary Cahill is way better than Barzagli
As left back Balzaretti or Antonelli would be better options than Chivu for sure but I wish that we can find better players than them (my suggestions as left back are Tremoulinàs and Coentrao)

Anyway a few sources have linked us with Genoa fullback Emiliano Moretti, I know him from his time in Spain where he impressed with Valenica, decent player who would provide another option to Chivu on the left. We've also been linked with another player... 34yr old Omar Milanetto.
