Clone Kaka somehow.

Kaka behind Ibra and Crespo/Cruz supported by JZ, Cuchu and Deki would be pure gold.

No need to clone him, only hope Fiorentina does the job and then give his father even more money. He is Brazilian.

He is not the typical Ronaldo and Adriano type Brazilian. Hope his influence doesn't rub off on Pato.

Figo once again names Quaresma as his successor.

[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular]
Inter winger Luis Figo believes that Porto winger Riccardo Quaresma would be the perfect replacement for him at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The Portuguese maestro is expected to leave the club at the end of the season and is helping the Nerazzurri find his successor.

The former World Player of the Year went back on an agreement to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad last year, but he has received offers from teams in America's MLS.

Directors at the Via Durini club asked for the 35-year-old's opinion on three offensive midfielders capable of filling his role.

Marseille talisman Samir Nasri, Porto's Quaresma and Schalke's young Croat Ivan Rakitic were all put before Figo, whose patriotism took over.

“Quaresma, clearly!” announced the ex-Real Madrid star. “He is Portuguese like me.”

When asked who would win the European Championships in Austria and Switzerland, the two-time Scudetto winner ignored the Azzurri and emphatically replied: “Portugal, obviously!”

[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular]Quaresma would be an absolute dream, irrespective of how he would fit in to our system, but Chelsea and Liverpool are in for him as well, and It would take a high class idiot, to prefer us over Chelsea or Liverpool.

Even though Quaresma would be my last choice, if thats what Mancio wants, then I'm ok with it.

btw, you guys are forgetting a big factor that can work in our favour, the presence of Figo.

How arent they close to us?

Chelsea are basicly the EPL version of Inter, just with alot more balance and speed.

Liverpool seems average on paper but showed enough last game to make a complete fool of us yet again.

Inter are way too poor technicaly and most importantly way too slow to even be considered in the same league as the top 4 in the EPL.

Inter needs to get over themselves, and realise that they arent a powerhouse in european football, they having been for 40 years and its not likely to change anytime soon. Serie A is about 50 times slower than the EPL and even Liga, thats the main difference, and it shows in the euro games. Only Roma has the technique and speed to keep up with them.

It would required a mass amount of changes to make Inter capable of doing anything apart from embassasing themselves further in the CL.

Inter is very good technicly, we just need to start changing to modern football - pace - stamina, team work and determiantion every game for 94minutes.

So let's bring 2 good midfielders and let's rock

In terms of what? Chelsea can offer more money to a player than any other club in the world while Liverpool have an amazing history in Europe. There's also the matter of the lucrative deals players usually get when they go to an English team. I'd like to have Quaresma but only if Mancini used him in his true position rather than forced him to play behind the forwards. We'd need another attacking winger (Mancini, Vicente, Rosicky, etc...) to compliment him.

Regardless of the formation we are going to play next season, I see we need at least 3 new MFs to replace Solari/Cesar/Dacourt/Figo and possibily Vieira.

1. Maniche/Diarra
2. A world class AM, for it be Diego/Mancini/Quaresma
3. Another more attackive mind MF ( Jimenez is a good option if his price lag lowers)

If money makes you a top team than man city is a top team.;) Chelsea are not in the same league as Inter reputation ways if they were a lot more top players would go to them because they have money.

LFC haven't even gotten close to winning their own league in nearly 20 years.

And AZZ a performance in a knockout competition were one bad performance can knock you out doesn't mean much in terms of who is the best. The cl is down to luck. It has to do with timing. Whoever manages to get their team in top shape from march till may wins the cl, in that competition the rest of the season doesn't matter only 3 months matter. You can be the best team in the world for the rest of the season but if injuries and 1 poor performance knock you out there's nothing you can do.

Didn't play very well last night from what I saw.

I would much rather have someone like rakitic, modric, diego or deco. If we have to go for someone who is inconsistent I would go for nasri.

Sorry, but this is bullshit. Soy you blaming "luck" for 4 years of being a complete joke in away games in europe?

Luck plays a big factor in the CL for sure, but not in this way. Luck can include ref mistakes, defected goals, injuries ect ect certain event during a game. But "bad luck" isnt the issue when the same things happen each season, like always polaying poorly in away games.

And to say we are the best team in the world because our performance in the eternaly slow and far behind serie a, is absolutely hilarious.

I never said we were the best side in the world. I said you can be the best side in the world but if injuries or luck goes against you in the 3 crucial months of the knockout stages of the cl then it doesn't matter.

Well you can't say we have been lucky the last 2 seasons. Each time when the last 16 round has arrived we have been ravaged by injuries in a certain section of our team. Not once in the last 2 years have when been able to put our first 11 match fit on the field in the knockout stages. This plays a massive role.
