Horrible news. God forbid; next they'll hustle a milanese club to buy Trezeguet, and sign fullbacks like Kolarov and Santos with that money. Voila, they suddenly have the best starting eleven in Serie A. Juventus are back, big time.

I'm so tired of this crap. You speculate, think everything through, hope for the best. Dissapointment after dissapointment. I sure hope ALOT is happening behind the curtain, otherwise things look bleak. I'm fine with Motta and Milito arriving; I'm NOT AT ALL fine at NOTHING else happening, no departures, rumours of incoming players are mainly about Deco and crippled Arnautovic. Today I read we also tried to sign Onyewu; we seem to be back being Inter who signed Lucianos and Fadigas - as if Juventus have put a spell on us. Or then it's simply masochism.

HOW HARD CAN IT BE TO SIGN SO OBVIOUSLY STRONG PLAYERS SUCH AS FELIPE MELO? IT WAS IN OUR HANDS! INSTEAD WE GO FOR EITHER OLD ONES (MILITO, DECO) OR THE MOST INJURY PRONE PLAYER KNOWN TO MANKIND (MOTTA). THIS IS NO ROCKETSCIENCE FFS.

LOL this is really laughable...a few weeks ago when Melo was rumored here everyone said he was shit and said we shouldn't be after him. Then he has a couple good games for Brazil and suddenly Juve has just won the Scudetto because he signed him.

It is really easy for our mercato to always look bad when in your eyes they can never do anything right!

I really cant believe that Jube have managed to snap up two of my favourites players, that I really wanted to join Inter. Its just way too painful.

Melo is freakin awesome. He is so unlike a typical DM, great defensive skills, but the way he sprints forward with the ball at his feet, and can easily involve himself in the attack samba style.
Jube have gotten them two of the brazilian NT WC 2010 starters.

Melo would have fit in our midfield with Cambiasso and Muntari, with a Mr.X infront of them. He has way different characteristics than any of our midfielders.

A pairing of Sissoko and Melo, with Diego and Camronesi in front of them. That is a high class midfield. Its very physical and very creative.

What pains me even more, is that these were the EXACT two players that we needed to fill the holes in our midfield. And should have been our top priority. But rather we have been busy with Motta and Deco crap.

I would have preferred Melo over Hamsik, as he has more experience of playing at the highest level than Hamsik. But I would still be really happy if we can get Hamsik, sadly I highly doubt it right now.

Also WTF is wrong with Viola. They are in CL, they should be strenghting their team, not making it freakin weak!! And somebody should tell them, NOT TO FUCKIN SELL TO THEIR DIRECT RIVALS!!!!!

Things change. As the mercato progressed we realized Inter won't go after any stars. We also realized we won't go after pure AM like Diego. We should settle for CMs with offensive upside like Melo, D'Agostino, Hamsik, Motta. We got the latter, but it ain't enough. Now I just hope we go for Hamsik or D'Agostino and not Deco. Or if absolutely have to get Deco, get him on loan for one year and evaluate the situation next year again. Perhaps Krhin and/or Obi show some serious talent during the season and other one does santons.

Fiorentina's direct rivals are Genoa and Roma at this point. Juventus is a direct rival to Inter and Milan. They can't resist getting 20m€, they got Marchionni + they can use that cash directly to the market for D'Agostino.

Cafe. okay maybe not direct rivlas, but one of thier most bitter rivals. Corvino seems like such a smart man, this is a blunder by him. They should have kept him for another year, this guy is on his way to becoming one of the best midfilelders in the world. He will have an awesome WC, and next year could have easily gone for 30mill+.

Also i really dont rate D'Agostino that high, and I dont know why you do. Fiorentina are probably gonna replace him with Ledesma, who they will buy for around 12mills. It will turnj out to be an okay deal, but Viola will still come out as losers. I like Ledesma, but he isnt world class, and the difference between him and Melo is way more than 8mills

Agree you this one. Juventus have done a very good job so far. Milito+Motta was a good deal perhaps, but Diego+Melo was way much better. Juventus paid 45m€ for those two in cash, we paid probably 20+ m€ in cash for our two. Is Inter really this short of money? I truly hope we are sparing for another relatively big splash (Hamsik, Cassano for example) since getting Carvalho+Arnautovic for another 20m€ is just ridiculous if we can't reinforce our midfield or creativity anymore.

Well, Diego+Melo looks better than Motta+Milito. I have some suspicion that Diego will struggle somehow in his first season. But Juventus surely built good central spine of fighters in Chiellini, Sissoko and Melo. This is very important for leagues. Now we can beat them in this mercato only if we sign Cassano.
