I would hate to work in England. Worst food in the world I think. Seriously. Italy is a thousand times better in the ways that matter, to me at least, those being food and women. Italian women are incredible. British women are ugly, and have way too much influence by US culture.

Really miss living in Italy. Happiest times of my life.
You'd have to be pretty stupid to think English food is all the food available in England. England - especially around London - probably has the most diverse food range in the world, joint 6th most michelin stars in the world, etc.

But, sure, living in impoverished 15k euros a year as a senior manager in a bank, in a mafia country, that's better.

Not to mention the predictably unpredictable English weather and living outside of the EU.

I'll grab my coat, don't ban me.

Fortunately EPL clubs consider De Zerbi a safer bet than Inzaghi

Inzaghi would be crazy to go to Chelsea or Man Utd. Chelsea keep blaming coaches while the real problem is their recruiting policy. Inzaghi would walk into a giant mess if he went there. As for Man United, there's too much uncertainty there. Club needs big reinforcements and no one knows what Ratcliffe really plans to do. Their desired sporting director was put on gardening leave by Newcastle and it's uncertain when this is gonna be cleared out. Too big of a risk for a top coach to go to Man Utd right now.

Liverpool would be a good option for him but they seem more focused on Alonso, Nagelsmann, Amorim and De Zerbi. Barcelona would be a concrete option as well but i don't think he suits their style. I can't see Barcelona playing with 3-5-2. I could see Tuchel or Flick ending up there.

I doubt he will be considered by Bayern. It's unlikely they will take a risk with someone who doesn't even speak the language. After the names i had listed in another post, there's even a rumour about a Nagelsmann return now that Kahn and Brazzo are gone. Real are sticking with Ancelotti and they will eventually turn to Alonso so i don't think he's an option for them.

In the end, the most likely scenario is Inzaghi will sign an extension with a salary increase at the end of the season.
Apparently Bayern want De Zerbi if they cant get Xabi

Neither Manchester United or Chelsea are in better shape than Inter as a club.

Even though the Zhangs have to manage the Oaktree loan, things at Inter are seemingly settled and on the pitch, the team is doing really well. The same cannot be said for Manchester United or Chelsea. In comparison to Inter, both clubs are complete basket cases and Inzaghi pursuing an overseas adventure with either club would be a big mistake.

l might be wrong about this, but I get the feeling that Inzaghi knows exactly how well placed he is and he is also well aware of Inter's current standing in Europe. Money aside, both in terms of what he could demand in wages and the money he might have at his disposal for transfers, there is no reason for him to go to either club and Inter lacks nothing in comparison to Manchester United and Chelsea.

In relation to Manchester United, I read recently that even if they wanted to, they would not be able to afford to sack Erik ten Hag and that they are supposedly very close to breaching their FFP undertakings. As for Chelsea, they are a complete mess and the club's management appear to have little to no idea about football and what it takes to manage a club.

Ironically, Inter are doing a great deal better and have a far less at their disposal which is testament to the club's management.

Well, sometimes people just want a new challenge in life. Especially if Inzaghi wins Scudetto this year, which is like 99%, he has basically achieved everything here. For a CL you also need some luck though.

I can see him go if the right offer for him arrives. On the other side, I can see him stay and dominate Serie A for several years. Who knows

What is pretty stupid is to compare a millionaire's life in London (not England/UK) with someone who can barely afford rent in Italy, let alone anywhere in the world.

I cannot see him go after this season, no matter what happens.

He has a united team behind him and management team which are providing him pieces. He's gonna get a pay raise for what he has achieved and even if it's not as much some other club could pay, I would claim the things I listed in the previous sentence have more factor than some millions more in Inzaghi's bank account.

He has a legit chance to build Inter to be a force in Europe again. I can't see why he would throw that away for a "new challenge". Because that new challenge might aswell be a total disaster (Man Utd, Chelsea, Bayern). He knows what he has here and it looks good.

Inzaghi knows that upper management has contracts until 2027, I can see him staying with us until then. Beppe retiring from club level it will be big day for club and interisti , from then on maybe Simone wants to take a new challenge too. You know right now, he has all the tools to be a legend in this club with Capital letters, there is no better environment than us right now and that is even with Oaktree axe on our heads. He has squad moulded to his taste, the players are playing by automation and heart on the pitch. You think he would change all this for a 3-4M€ bigger payroll in new country . ManU and Chelsea are stress magnets, a fucking mess. It takes years to create a team capable to compete for a Scudetto, Coppa and UCL. At Manchester or Chelsea he wouldnt even play UCL and they operate without Beppe like figure there too. Have people seen Marotta in Inter's YT videos in pre games? He's the first man in the stadium greeting everyone before a match even high 5' ing assistants. I bet Furlani Mulani Ibracacobra ain't fkn doing it at Meelan.

If we award him 1.5M€ extra to 7M€ net why wouldnt he stay. He's 47 years old. Ancelotti is 64 and still getting jobs at the highest level.

Good point but we will never know 100% what is going on in Inzaghis head and his reasons. Look at Klopp, Zidane etc. They could all continue their success but quit.

IMO it is unlikely he would leave but who knows

If an EPL club wants to hire Inzaghi, then they have to hire Marotta as well

I am hoping we can have a dynasty with him, and I believe he is just getting started.
I am also very up for short rebuilding cycles with him in the future, please stay and be our legend.

I'd like him for at least another 2 years. Without dismantling the team, there's the opportunity for domination in Italy and being consistent challengers in Europe.

We're exactly where we were with Conte right before everything blew up with the added bonus of not shitting ourselves in Europe. It would take so little to become an absolute powerhouse, with this guy at the helm and sensible market decisions.
