I'd say some people are just negative minded, that no matter how good Inter becomes, they will dig deep into negative stuff to disrupt their own excitement of success. I mean, bad day will come, so why not enjoy the moment and quit being sad in advance?
Yeah but before the start of the season there was no real success. Well, I like to take it one game at a time, but it's hard to not feel just a bit pessimistic with all the money issues we are having, some of the favourite players leaving and so forth

Right now, I'm high on life  this Inter is giving me life

Buchanan should have a quicker release while crossing.

Many people here were saddened by how we lost the league in the first Inzaghi season and how we lost so many games last season. So I cannot point fingers if people didn't dare to even hope if we'll win the league. I didn't believe we would dominate so heavily.
There were people who wanted him fired after we drew against Genoa..

We had struggles in the first half, but the goal of Lautaro helped us a lot. I think the reason was Aduero, who wasn't convincing with his ball distribution as well as awful passing amongst the players.
In the second we killed quickly the match, and we saw a lot of rotation which was great. Lautaro and Mkhitaryan played around 60 min, Barella around 30, and even Dimarco got some rest at the end.
Great game in every aspect.

I thought Audero's passing was good, except of that long ball attempt that got deflected (in the first half), he did good enough. His goalkeeping ability is inferior to Sommer but his ball distribution was quite okay to me. I was even impressed by some of his passes that went through entire midfield.

Indeed, we struggled in first half but too many changes and also playing away from home against Lecce ain't easy. We caught them off guard quickly in the second half, and broke their spirit.

There were also people that wanted him fired after the bad run of results last season. Good thing we found a way to still keep him and get a lot better

The only reason he was not fired was because we couldn’t afford it, had Inter been in a better financial state he would never have survived such negative records under better circumstances. There coaches who has been fired for far less, just look at this season. But it dos show firing isn’t always the best solution rather being patient and give time can pay off, we had released coaches in the past pre Conte that vent on to win a Scudetto.

But we aren’t exactly known for being patient with coaches.

Good win.
As for audero Lecce were so poor they never tested him. He looked very nervous and gave away the ball twice in the first half. But we got away with this one, hopefully Sommer is back Wednesday.

He survived cause Beppe is in charge and doesn't believe in firing coaches mid season.
Under moratti he is fired and replaced with Stankovic, good we don't have that craziness currently.

I'm not convinced at all, but I don't get the fuss regarding his performance.

It's also a bonus game for them though so they could definitely see it as a chance to make up ground when nobody else can respond. If Atalanta wins against Milan, they're only -4 on Milan with a game in hand still (and better goal diff.). That means another win at the San Siro gets them to -1 and right on their tails, not to mention a minimum of a +3 margin on Bologna.

What might work to our benefit is that Atalanta has only found consistent form recently a) without European games midweek and b) against a much softer part of their schedule. Their record against the top-half isn't good this year at all, and they're about to face about as tough a stretch as you can face in any league; every other top-5 team + two EL games + Fiorentina and Napoli...they don't play the European games before they play us, but it's still a midweek after a Sunday game. We'll be on equal rest more-or-less.

G-d, the scenario of Milan losing on Sunday and then we beat Atalanta to potentially move +17 on Milan is delicious. I want that.
Honestly being ahead of Milan 15,20 or 30 points doesn't move me at all. Beating them in every derby is more than enough for me. On the other hand being ahead of Juventus 15+ is what I'm interested in.

Besides the first 10-15 minutes, I think we did very good considering the players that started last night. This season our CBs have been absolutely great. I can't remember another season when we could rotate our CBs just like that and there would not be much differences in terms of defence.

Fratessi might not start many games but he definitely has that instict to be in the right place in the right time - 5 goals and 4 assist so far.

Happy for Sanchez get a full game too. I still believe he could be helpful when games are not going as we would like.

By the way, this guy is a Gobbi supporter.

^ This guy is Jube fan from IFTV, but he usually tries to be objective.
I'm curious how Milan's fan, Antonio is doing. I bet that he is bursting hate all over around him, and blame the referees, Marotta and illuminati about it.
