10 years of FIFWe need a better second half in term of efficiency and then it's gonna be easier for the second leg. They will have to change their approach and open up. There is, where we'll hit them harder.
I'm still confident we'll penetrate their defence in the second half. Hopefully Limone is going to calm the boys down.

Shit! You don’t get a lot of chances against this Atletico. We had 3 in the first half, we scored none. That can cost us in the end I’m afraid.

Forum SupporterGood half from Inter there. Nice press, no panic and slow build ups, getting some chances off late on in the half as we are getting a good feel for the game, Sommer not been bothered yet.
Feeling we will strike between 55-65 minutes and we will close it out 1 maybe 2-0.
Concerned for Thuram for obvious reasons but also more concerning is Toro's yellow card hanging over his head, another one and pending Thurams possible injury I don't fancy Sanchez Marko up top 2nd leg.

Not a bad half all things considered aside from Mkhi and Darmian as well as that Lautaro scuffed effort 
Atletico is defending well. I’m slightly concerned at the fact we seem to be expending way more energy than them. The 2nd half will evolve into a different game so we need to be ready to adapt.

This game actually shows which players benefit more from our system than the others, Mihki and Darmian the most, then Thuram and Hakan.
The struggle ones are the one that are forced to show their weaker side, cause the position to position and man to man setting from A.Madrid.
That is also why Barrella and Lautaro are balling, also good to see De Virj bossing.
The moment Mihki and Darmian got more physical the moment it started a bit better. Like Darmian throwing himself in, and Mihki using his body to block to draw fouls.
Also yea asshole ref, more incompetent than malicious though.
P.S. The way A.Madrid played us is like we are a big team, it is very cool to see.
