We are going to play against a Spanish team, enough said. They are going to provoke our players, play some dirty football, and surround the ref each time there's a foul. I'm expecting some ugly football with Atletico advancing further eventually. God, I hate playing against Laliga teams except for Real Madrid.

You said it few posts before. CL winners in many cases are not clubs who are playing "best football" in Europe. Or most beautiful football. What is even best football? If you are winning that should be the best football. If Atletico won this their football was better.


This is 50-50. Maybe we are playing "better" but they (mainly Cholo) showed through more than one season that they are capable of winning matches like this in Europe. They are equiped for this,they know how to do it against the best and that matters a lot. Imagine that in NBA terms. It's all good when you are new promising 50+ wins team in regular season like for example Memphis last few seasons but then in the playoffs it's a completely different tournament. You will not toy around with serious highest level teams anymore and teams that know how to do it have a good advantage. We are still looking for our big statement scalp in knock out stage after returning to the CL. If we don't win this nobody outside of Italy will care about our great regular season in Serie A (and I'm not downplaying Serie A title here,it's just a reality).

That is also why I don't like when people are claiming we should concentrate on Serie A and that is our only priority. It can't be that way and CL should be as important as Serie A.

Who cares for the "best" football? Napoli also played the best football last season, and they got eliminated by pathetic Milan. We have to be focused and efficient. I don't care about the quality of our football in CL.

Couldn’t get any sleep last night because I’m to hyped. I’d say we slightly favourite because we play at home. Atletico is a tricky team but we are Inter.

Every win would be massive. I remember stronger teams then us(Liverpool few seasons ago) getting spanked by Atletico in CL knockout phase.
