can't play champagne limoneball every game, 3 points is all that matters. halfway there.

Don't think there's anybody demanding for champagne football tonight.

We are just way too clumsy in overall, but luckily Viola is trash. They will leave plenty of space behind, so we need to take these chances before it's too late.

This is one of these matches where you could tell that it's a matter of time until we concede. Having both Asllani and Frattesi in the starting line-up is a huge gamble. The latter is making others have a difficult time though.

It would be problematic if Biraghi was available, given all the cheap free kicks we've given out.

If he were stable or clinical we would not have gotten him for free.

Not his best game I'll admit.

exactly, can't expect perfection every game. lautaro had sooooo many stinkers for us and look at him now, top 3 player in the world this season

Also, if Augusto could perform better executions in the final third, he'd be great. He's been really good in defensive aspect, but sadly in most of cases he's giving the ball away too easy or making wrong decisions.

Frattesi doesn’t have good game so far, we couldn’t do anything on right side

Yeah I agree 100%. I'm just saying I think if we really want to be competitive on the international front, we will need someone else. He's not a bad player, just don't consider him in the league of a top striker, like Lautaro etc.

Some HT thoughts:

We’re not keeping a clean sheet. Need to sneak in another one.

Frattesi still doesn’t look cut out for our possession football. I’m not sure I’m ready to see Klaassen, but wouldn’t mind a Sensi last dance.

Given the frantic back and forth, we could really use some pace on the wings. Buchanan or Dumfries would be welcome sight.

We're never going to have two players like Lautaro in the current budget environment. Thuram is the best we can reasonably hope for.

yeah i just prepared myself mentally and knew we would not be good without our two important starters. very crucial to get 3 points no matter what especially given rube result yesterday

Our left flank is currently not so worrisome. Mkhi is playing one hell of a game.

The right side is just invisible.

Guys, never underestimate Frattesi. He could have average 80 minutes and score 2 in the last 10 minutes. We have no better option at the moment. Get with the program.

Some little note in the first half.
- That Darmian pass to Thuram before the Faraoni's clearance was very good.
- Frattesi might be a little underwhelming in the first half.
- Asllani beside that losing marking of that Beltran run until Mkhi defend it well, actually did well in the first half.
- That near post corner by Asllani and the header by Lautaro were very good set pieces.
- Defence did well, Pavard was very calm and Bastoni and Carlos combo works quite well.
