Castaignos is gone, signed a 4 year deal with Twente. He will join their training monday or tuesday.

Pretty good deal by Inter tbh, bought for 3-4 million, sold for 6.

We shouldn't have sold him imo, dunno why he wanted to leave asap. He could've develop there and return y great form. He has a great potential.

Potential doesn't only apply to technical or physical ability. He also has the potential to end up being another Arnautovic

It's not much money, but at least we earned something, unlike we did with Lucio, Forlan and probably J.Cesar....we wanted to loan him to one of Serie A teams, so he could get used to italian football, but he didn't want to go...

if we loaned him for one season to some Dutch or English, he would again need to adapt his game...And if the other team was interested in buying him, they would probably want to include the FIXED price in the contract...like we did with Mudingayi for example: 1 year loan with an option to buy for (enter price)...and they probably wouldn't offer more than they did now...

I think it's sad to see him leave, but he needs to grow and play. I think we have made a mistake by selling him, but I guess time will tell.

It was obvious the kid didn't wanted a loan(which could've been a nice solution actually) so obviously a departure was necessary.

I've honestly never seen a team so goddamn impatient as ours.. we never gave this kid a chance and when we did, he won us a game, yet we sell him immediately for a small profit and you sheep call it a good deal and worse call Luc a dick for not wanting to be part of an organization that clearly doesn't give a damn about youth.

If one season in a completely new league at 23 was not enough for Alvarez who played a significant amount of games to be judged, why was it for Luc who was 4 years younger and given a handful of games?

Who is judging luc as not good enough? Don't be so high and mighty, the majority of us know he isn't ready yet, hence why we wanted him to be loaned out to another Serie A team.

Woah... I just read on Eurosport that he is headed back to the Eredivisie. So we dont even give him the opportunity to do something, we rather just dump him out, in favour of a 30 yr old guy whom I fear might be a failure... Oh man Inter's transfer policy is truly laughable... but hey, the people who make these decisions make 6-7 digits a year, so I suppose they know what they are doing.

he should have went on loan in Jan and he was offered a serie a club loan this summer.
