One last thing. Vieira made a huge mistake and got us playing the most of the game with 1 man down, fair enough.

But I don't see anybody saying anything about the behaviour of Matrix when Emopli was awarded Penalty. Sure JC saved it miracleously, but a penalty is like a goal in 90% of cases.

What Matrix did is no comparison to weakening your team, and also what he did for Inter for this couple of years has no matching to Vieiras period, but still it was a very stupid play from out center back that almost cost us a precious 2 points, and yet nobody is reffering to that.

The mistake by Materazzi was potentially costly, I agreed, but it was definitely less stupid then Vieira's needless red card. Vieira got a yellow card for shirt tugging, and even if it wasn't supposed to be a yellow, he shouldn't have talked his way into a straight red. That's jsut stupid and very unprofessional.

Materazzi's mistake on the other hand, was a simply an error in judgement and maybe slow reaction. He is slow, but that I think that challenge wasn't all that stupid. If he was a tad faster, he might get to the ball first.

Some of Viera’s actions would have probably been overlooked if he was playing consistently. He is not and he clearly isn’t taking his chances to do so either.
According to our website he has a massive 136 min in serie A and 17 min in the CL under his belt. Am I therefore right to assume he has played more minutes for his national team so far since start of the 07 season!? :|

Anyway I’m hoping he can turn things around and become as decisive as he was for us last season.

I think this is the first time I hear Vieira apologizing! I liked the cold reaction he got from our players (specially JZ and Stan.) It's hard to tell a 30 year old WC and EC winner and a captain of a major NT how to behave. Maybe silence was the best option or he got an earful from someone.

For once I want him to play as much as he can for his NT, he needs match fitness badly.

And we're back to where we started. Vieira is disqualified for two Serie A games. Now, how is he supposed to gain match fitness before the Liverpool game?

This means that he won't play with us for two weeks. So he's either injuried or suspended? how much money has been paid for him so far? :boogy:

He will get his match fitness from the France games. And he will 'train' with us, I mean get match practice at Anfield . Incredible patience some Interisti are showing for this guy. Apart from 10 mins in the Parma game, when everyone else was tired and he was fresh, he never has looked like he wants Inter to suceed.

Still not defending Vieira ;)

Answering your questions, he will probably play most of the France game against Spain, and there is still a friendly I've heard we will be playing.

As for his attitude, I want to add(it might, or might not, be it), that Vieira is playing a lot with a nonchalance, that's how he is acting on the field, and that often looks like he doesn't care. It is very similar to how Ibrahimovic(when with a ball) is coming at the defender. But I say again, don't jump on me saying I'm defending him.

2 games ban, I think we should field Maniche ahead of Vieira against Liverpool. I rather have a hungry Portuguese than lazy French at this point.

Uumm..I have a question..if anyone knows the answer.

According to inter.it, Vieira is handed two-match ban & imposed a fine of 5,000 euros. Who paid (/will pay) the fine, INTER (on behalf of Vieira, maybe) or Vieira himself (taken off his paycheck or something like that) ??

This guy had shown he is a waste of money and space on this team, and some of you are still defending him. This guy is the most immature player on this team. I don't even want him to play against liverpool knowing that he's not giving his all and that he couldn't give a **** about the club that is paying him one of the highest wages in Italy.

Go back to ****ing Jube Pat.

We will take all the crap Ibra gives if he keeps contributing to our team like he's been doing in the past 2 seasons. Vieira hasnt done anything, if you look at his history he even pushed Miha in the post derby celebrations and that is just one example, we never had any positive talk coming from him. If I was Moratti I'd pay some club to take him. Never hated a Inter player soo much.:yuck:

No. He will be able to play a round before that.

Personaly I don't like Vieira too. I don't think anybody does.

But like I said before, the team comes first. If the team benefits from the player I don't like, than what can I say.

You can't love them all.

We've been playing well without him for the past 2 seasons. He's never been there for us. We havent really missed him. So I dont know how you say that our team is "benefitting" from having him. You just made me realise he is a liability.:D

btw, he played 80 mins for France.

Thank you! All these people have talked about how he was helped our team dominate which is complete bullshit. If he is unhappy then he should leave. Frankly, he should leave anyways.

Don't get me wrong, I used to think he was a fantastic player at Arsenal. I had hoped he would bring that kind of technique and experience to Inter, but he hasn't. On the contrary, I think he has negatively affected our squad because we rely on him and he's never there for us.
