Skriniar to enable Bremer became a thing only after Lukaku was here. For a brief moment that was also tied with Dybala arriving on top of Lukaku, only to have Correa leaving as a new condition.
This is all in the space of two weeks...
We tried to sell Skriniar through all over June and then tried to sell Bastoni as well! All that was to get Lukaku's big fat contract in, not to sign a replacement. The replacement was going to be an aftermath, not the cause. Because obviously we'd have to get a defender if we sold a starter..
Bremer price skyrocketed after and Skriniar had already rejected leaving for PSG.
We then tried to sell him again after Bremer had signed for Juventus..

Most Improved MemberI don't agree. There were rumors (plenty), that we had an agreement with Bremer, and an agreement in principal with Torino for the fee, even before the mercato got started. It was typical move of Marotta, trying to seal a replacement before the sale happens. Just like he tried to do this summer with Vicario, Frattesi and Augusto. I don't recall even a single rumor stating that we want to get Lukaku on permanent basis, funded by Skriniar's sale. If there is a such, please be so kind to share a link to it.

In that summer Torino got greedy and kept adding 5m to the value because we were lowballing them and Juventus showed intent to pay premium.
That price rose by 70% by the time he was transferred.
Lukaku cost us 20m last season, we still needed to fund that somehow. We got lucky Inzaghi took us to the CL final...

Double standard. When Management had tried to sell Icardi that was ok and after all everything was Icardi's fault but in Skriniar scenario it's management's fault 
I don't want to argue about none of them. I think in both scenarios, the management should be blamed at the most.

Now, I can't remember what he said when he signed for Inter, but my strong feeling was "Fuck everything, I don't wanna be here"

Perhaps we may have dodged a bullet not giving Skriniar a fat contract. He looks absolutely toast and I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that he's at a new club. Clumsy, slow, second to the ball.. what happened? I feel like his mentality and character, which seemed like some of his best qualities a little while ago, are starting to become a bit of an issue.

10 years of FIFDefinitely has to do with "new club" issue, especially in a terrible environment like PSG. Well, he's gotten that cash but footballing wise, he downgraded.
There's so many issues in their group. Skriniar has made several individual errors so far, but when things aren't working collectively, you'd expect individual collapse one by one. It doesn't work, simple as that. This is like creating a narrative that Casemiro is a poor player because things aren't going as good as they were in Real Madrid days.
I've lost my respect for Skriniar because of his behaviour towards the club, which I still think our management were clowns for not taking a better care of situation, but by no means I don't hate Skriniar. I refuse to believe he's mentally weak or whatever comes up regarding his situation now. The guy was solid as rock for many years, especially whenever the rest of the team looked lost, he was still there bossing against anyone. He shot himself in the foot by moving to PSG though.

10 years of FIFWas ass yesterday other than the goal, and that's twice in this CL group that he's let someone (Dan Burn first then Giroud) absolutely overwhelm him on a headed challenge leading to PSG conceding.
Looks a long way from the 1st season Spalletti/2nd season Conte Skriniar we know, but it is mainly an environment issue. Hakimi looked awful too.
