This is the most mature we looked under inzaghi. No more headless chicken attacks where we leave half the pitch open for opponents to counterattack us. Our game in certain moments looks boring in the best possible way. Good stuff, hopefully it continues...

What a total domination and control. Possession stats were like 40-60, but we gave Fiorentina absolutely nothing while at the same time scoring 4 goals and creating numerous chances.

Oh man, what a display. Haven't had that much fun watching an Inter game in a while. Maybe that's to do with not having watched any football in the last couple of months.

The midfield 5 totally dominated Fio tonight—special props to Dimarco, who tore Dodo a new one. Sommer and SDV had a great display tonight as well. Sommer had some pinpoint passes, as well as a marvellous save. Darmian and Bastoni were reliable, as usual.

Man, Thuram is polarising. I see that the guy plays intelligently, and that's something I value a lot. He scored, assisted and won a penalty. Nevertheless, he literally missed three sitters. Three. Still, great display. I'll be very happy to be wrong about him, but he needs to work on his finishing and actually be more greedy.

Again, being able to sub in Cuadrado, Arna, Augusto, Frattesi, and Asllani is simply too much for this league. The depth Simone has at his disposal is, for once, very, very impressive. What is also impressive is the way that the team is drilled. There wasn't a single moment when we lost formation. Very compact when transitioning to defence. Attacking movements also seem fluid - we created a lot in this game. I'm thrilled with the display - bring on Milan. They can style over lesser teams but I doubt they can impose their game against us.

Can’t really complain about the performance tonight, absolutely one of the best early of the season games we had in years. Solid, strong, football, where we put pressure on at the right moment are holding back in others. Defensive performances is just utterly solid and almost flawless, we been absolutely amazing defensively, a rather big improvement over what we performed same time last year.

But the amount of open chances we are wasting is a bit worrying, except Martinez who seem to almost turn everything into gold, absolutely world class performance he is putting up at the moment. He must have finally put all the critics too silence, there hardly a more in form attacker in Europe at the moment, a monster currently.

Mkhitaryan and Thuram both had an incredible performance. Yes Thuram should have scored 3 goal, but he also shown why he is a massive improvement over Dzeko and Lukaku, Fiorentina simply didn’t know how to handle him and he created that penalty by being at the right spot, but Inzaghi need to put him in some sort of camp on his finishing product.

I just don’t see how anyone can take Darmians spot at the moment, absolute power performance from him, hardly sat a foot wrong in the entire match.

Sommer passing is gradually improving, he take care of most of the chances and his reaction on the line has been absolutely solid so far.

Hakan is slotting in well on that regista role, a powerful penalty from him plus a good free-kick, can’t really complain over his performance tonight and he doesn’t make you miss Brozovic, as he has definitely filled up those shoes rather well.

Cuadrado is shit, yeah he made an assist but besides that he was horrible.

Excellent performance and result.

I feel like De Vrij and Sommer are good pair in defense. Despite new, Sommer is good shoot stopper and have big role in three match cleansheet.
