Nah, Pavard has to be RCB, so we can utilize his long passes and that Darmian doesn't need to start every game. De Vrij and Acerbi as CB is enough for now

What's the point of your essay here? I never say we dont sell players. But the profit of 60% should not be enough for us to consider selling.

Even if we end up selling Trubin we are making profit eventually. For Sommer we surely lose 6m for his 1-2 years of service. Still can't see which deal is better?

My point is that Inter is in a position where profit on sales mean almost everything, as it is now turned into an essentially part of how the club finance itself, as well as keep on financing the next target. Those you cannot make a deal on a player where 40% of the sales amount have to go back to the former club, because that would drastically reduce the profit gains and simply undermine one of the major reasons to even do the trade in the first place.

Many of the players inter are currently getting are not just to gain results but also to finance the whole project.

Inter have a few players that low cost operation that don’t need to like Arna and Sommer, but the main bulk of the investment need to pay off to fond the next project. Frattesi, Thuram and Bisseck are all brought in among other reasons because of their potential high plusvalenza.

Bayern are just waiting for better offer from Man U.
I only hope the latter do not succeed in selling of Maguire or Varan anytime soon.

Benjamin Pavard is ready to land in Milan and start his adventure at Inter. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the French defender could land in Italy as early as tonight. It is no longer even a question of details, because those Inter and Bayern solved them on Monday: Pavard arrives in the Nerazzurri outright for 30 million plus two bonuses and will sign a five-year contract of 4 million net per season. Pavard spent the day yesterday packing his bags and aims for the trip to Sardinia, the Nerazzurri's next game. "Should he do the first training between tomorrow and Friday, it is likely that he can also be immediately called up then for Cagliari."

An insider at Bayern leaked to me that Bayern's buying time, they don't want to sell but if they straight up refused to sell, Pavard might be pissed off and start causing troubles. They're just waiting for the mercato to be over so they can say they've tried their best and Pavard will have no choice other than behaving professionally in his last year of contract.

I mean what else can the management do? They've done their best to match Bayern's evaluation? It's not in their hand anymore.

No one can blame them for this. They have done their work. Now it's entirely up to Bayern. But you can blame them if they don't have a serious alternative. You can't go from Pavard to Toloi. You always need to be prepared a deal can go south.

Don't have one.
We have alternatives, but I would imagine they are massive downgrades. I don't remember the last time when we were linked with a player like pavard and had a serious chance of getting him. Maybe hakimi, but he was more seen as madrid reject than a player in his prime. Pavard could literally walk into man city or real madrid first team lineup, no questions asked.

So my point in all of this, everybody pray we get him

Imagine not getting Pavard and keeping Correa.

A highly likely scenario to be honest.

Toloi would be a good alternative. I don't see what kind of alternative are you looking for here.

What I'm worried is that Toloi isn't available for us and it will be a downgrade from there.

- Pavard hearted Steven on Instagram
- he may arrive in Milano tonight, or latest tomorrow morning.
