This cunt legit makes no sense
Of course it will be memorable and something to be proud, but my man, I can't help but think of the consequences if we don't finish in the top four. These aren't your regular consequences of missing cl, like we gonna patch it here and there and hope for the best. It has the potential to be absolute armageddon, as our management hinted recently.Maybe you will forget in a few weeks, maybe majority will forget in a few weeks. But I can tell you surely, I will not forget it (and by forget becoming irrelevant in a few weeks for what`s next).
How many times had Inter reach the CL final? 2 wins with Hererra, another one against Ajax (this was the swan song of La Grande Inter) and the one with Mou.
The CL final is the CL final, arguably the biggest event in footbal (you can argue the WC final). You need to deserve to be there.
This guy has more lives than a pair of cats! He got it right today.
This cunt has 9 lives. Incredible.
He should be gone, no matter what's the outcome of the season. Even though if he somehow makes it to top 4 while making semis in CL. If he wins Coppa on top, it's pretty impossible to sack him at that point.
It's just Conte's team that continues to show up in the CL. In serie A they all don't care, only Inzaghi's team performs, which is not enough to get results consistently.
Whatever it is, it's pretty irrelevant to talk about sacking Inzaghi mid-season anymore. We are in Coppa semis, we are in good position to reach CL semis. It's not like the replacement can do better in the current moment in Serie A AND do the same in cup competitions.Just to stress on the top 4 point
I always try to be realistic. I think if we didnt make the CL next season, the likely outcome:
- 3 starters sold for plusvalenza in the summer (we'd probably need about 60-80mil plusvalenza, assuming no major sponsorship or ownership changes)
- 3 of, imho, {Dumfries, Barella, Bastoni, Lautaro, Onana}, with probably Broz going anyway as he's low valuation for us now
- Replacements will likely be bosman/cheap/trolly signings, not saying necessarily bad, but like... Smalling, Retegui, i dunno who else
- I think its reasonable to assume we wouldnt make the CL the next season either, so suddenly that level of plusvalenza becomes our new baseline - esp since Milan, Napoli, etc will be able to invest in their squads
- Sponsorship revenues will also shrink as we dont make top 4
- It'll be quite hard to get the sponsorship revenue we need this summer for our shirt sponsor
- Wont keep any of our loaned players (likely, unless we've already exercised options)
For me, there's no scenario where Inzaghi should even be allowed a chance to let us fall outside of top 4 - he should have been fired already, tbh. If he makes top 4, then I think the club need to have a frank conversation with him to understand how he lost so many games, and what he needs to not repeat it next season.
Unfortunately, based on decades of supporting Inter, we all know this club doesnt have the balls to make actual big movements - we'll get a bunch of shit 35 year olds on expensive Bosman signings, we wont do the clear out we need in the squad, and we'll just mediocrely trundle along
Someone asked me some time ago about the risk of bankruptcy for Inter - its significantly increased with not being in top 4.
The risk of not making top 4 is what scares me most. If we felt we could get an interim manager to come in and increase our chance of making top 4, that alone is worth it tbh. I don't think it's a practical suggestion but I do wonder if Conte could do it, for example.Whatever it is, it's pretty irrelevant to talk about sacking Inzaghi mid-season anymore. We are in Coppa semis, we are in good position to reach CL semis. It's not like the replacement can do better in the current moment in Serie A AND do the same in cup competitions.
If we wanted to fire him, it should have been done weeks and weeks ago. But then again, the question is the replacement, who available (for us) coach would have done better than him? (no, the answer is not Chivu).
In the summer he needs to go. He can't get the squad to focus 100% on every match and this team needs to focus 100% to be able to compete. That lack of focus has external factors for sure, but that's another discussion.
WIN THAT UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE YOU CUNTS!This is the key right here, everything else will be forgotten in under few weeks, even cl final, if we don't finish in the top four.
Anyways, tonight everything was spot on, hopefully we can soon finally catch a break in the league as well.
I will keep him, but Morotta must catch squeeze his ball until he understand that he needs to develop the kids.
This the puzzling thing about inzaghi is how fucken good we were in clutch games in europe and how fucken bad we ve been the last two months in the league....Inzaghi manages a team that has no business playing in three competitions.
He has a (slim) chance at winning two cups one of which is the CL, under terrible circumstances at the club. And securing a top 4 spot is feasible.
Sometimes his moves are puzzling but there is potential here under a proper management. He's not like Spalletti where he had lost the team 6-7 months before the end of the season, but at the same time he's not close to be considered a keeper in case we get a new owner.
Let's just ride the season and see where it goes.
It’s no shocker at all. The team is shallow and doesn’t have the depth to compete at that level on all fronts. This the puzzling thing about inzaghi is how fucken good we were in clutch games in europe and how fucken bad we ve been the last two months in the league....
To me it clearly seems to be a motivational problem question really is if Inzaghi can fix this...
I still would love for us to get a matrix into the coaching stuff just to motivate these fucks, could be any ex legend that knows what this shirt means and who does not have the ambitions to become a coach him selfe....
Also firing Inzaghi as long as we re still in the CL seems insane, lets just hope these players find some pride and get their shit together in Serie A
