Lol relax. You're talking about a 2nd placed team and a 7th placed team. Man Utd will qualify for CL while Roma might not even make Europa League next season. And they were tied up until the last 1/3rd game.

I'm just glad that at least one midtable team isn't going to derp its way into somehow being a Pot 1 team in next year's Champions League. We're not out of the woods yet with Arsenal somehow doing that, but at least it seems we don't need to worry about Roma doing that. They've put all their eggs into the Europa League basket at the expense of being any good in Serie A in the last few weeks, and all they got for it was a 6-2 loss instead of a 7-1 loss this time when they had to go to Old Trafford. I guess they'll manage a 4-4 draw there once 2049 rolls around.

imo what happened to Roma is also a lesson what happens when you stretch too thin and what could have happened to us had we progressed to the second round of the CL, with this squad. The difference is, I guess, Inter are not ready yet, while Roma probably never will be. I'm more annoyed than joyfully about their repeated failures though.
