Tbh I'm through with fashion, I want money and titles. It's not even like we've been particularly competing with Gucci and LV in the last decade, most of our kits designs were fairly garbage.

Get absolutely fucked you fucking baboons.

First, they introduced a horrendous standardized captain's armband. That meant the death of iconic designs like Zanetti's armbands, Miccoli's iconic red, yellow & green armband, Papu Gomez's insane collection, and Astori's armband which featured the crests of the four boroughs of Florence..

Part of what makes Serie A so great is the "Italian" artfulness of the visuals. The colors, the club crests, jerseys, coreos, flags etc. it all contributes to this wonderful smorgasbord of visuals which is a great part of Italian football. Now we're just following the same boring conventions as in England, France and Spain. From next season, Germany will be the only big 5 league with custom fonts allowed on jerseys. :palm:

To ban custom armbands was one art "medium" removed. To introduce standardized jersey fonts is another move which chips away and detracts from the great collective aesthetic. What's next, standardizing club logos so they all have be circular? It might be completely trivial to some, but to art lovers and those very visually inclined, this is just shit.

If this dogshit rule is enforced, I hope at the very least we do what they do in England, which is to have the original font designed by the shirt manufacturers available (Cup printing) for non-league games.

I’m perfectly fine with the streamlining/ standardisation of kit numbers. If I’m being honest I’ve never really gave 2 fucks what the numbering looks like on the back so this isn’t a biggie.

Also redesign the logos I also think this is fantastic idea! Many shirts are ruined by sponsor logos and a fear in the back of my mind has been taken away by this. We are due to change shirt sponsors soon so we could haven been in a position where we got a sponsor like Lete or jeep. Take our third kit this season! The yellow box is completely unnecessary and for me just ruins the kit!

So I say well done for this.

They won’t enforce clubs to conform to a specific logo type.

I do disagree with the captains armband, was saddened when they decided to make that standardised! I used to like seeing the inter articles on the armband before the match :(

I hope that's bullshit. The last thing I want to see is standardised fonts. I like the fact that everyone has different designs every season and imo it makes the kits and league look more unique. I don't want it to be like the premier league where everyone uses the same shitty font.

Glad to see that Serie A is finally tackling the real problems affecting the league. Those fucking armbands and shirt numbers were destroying the league.

I could not agree more. Nothing needs to be done about racism in Serie A. I think the Lega handle all racist incidents in an exemplary manner.

Not a club obviously but they're doing it with the England kit for Euro 2020:

Might be one of their templates for the upcoming season.

I feel the blue trims on the collar and sleeves ruin the 3rd jersey.

That's the World Cup 98 kit (almost).

Unrelated to the new kit, but does anyone have any idea why there have been no long sleeved shirts since 2013, or thereabout?

I always thought it made players look more classy, 'more-than-athletes'-like.

Same here and I would always buy the long sleeve versions of the jersey too.

What pisses me off is that I’m pretty sure Nike still does long sleeved versions of the jerseys for the English clubs. As well as a new shirt sponsor we need a new kit maker!

Funny the long sleeved version of our jerseys stopped just as Nike started to fuck around with our kits. Last long sleeve shirt I bought was from the 11/12 season.

The fuckening continues.

That is legitimately the worst set of shirts I've ever seen in my life.

Even the 3rd kit, which at first seemed like a promising tribute to our famous 3rd kits of 98 and 05, increasingly appears like a cheap and low-quality rip off the more I pay close attention to the details.

I can safely say the home and away are the worst Inter shirts I've seen by a long margin in my time as a fan.
