someone who has failed at 2 european clubs, sorry, but good luck.
he's had 3 coaches call him out for being a completely useless prick.
dont hold your breath guys.
he wasn't even played in neither club lol.
Guy won the equivalent of Champions League in South America, is highest scorer in said competition and broke the serie a goalscoring record and is on track to win the league with his club as well.. and he is 23.
If you think some EPL team wont bid for him you are just an Inter fan who has been hurt way too many times hahah, positive thinking guys
Just proves how bad the leagues in South America are now. Europe raids South America for players after they a 17-18 year old scores 2 pro goals.

https://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/exclusive-what-s-next-for-gabigol-35349Exclusive: what's next for Gabigol
It was his night. The one he had dreamed of since his father Valdemir and his mother Lindalva took him to the Santos academy day after day. Gabigol is the king of South America, he has won the Copa Libertadores with Flamengo and given himself a place amongst the legends: he has overtaken Zico with goals in Brasileirao, has reached 40 goals this season (!) and raised the trophy after a brace in the final which saw River defeated, all after having touched the trophy whilst entering the pitch. Madness for the superstitious, but not for Gabriel Barbosa who now formally from the end of December will have to return to Inter after his loan ends. An official move, which, however, does not mean that Gabigol has to set foot in Appiano Gentile.
In fact, Inter have appreciated his amazing season, but the club's stance has always been to capitalize on Gabigol's year and sell him immediately by mutual agreement with the player who prefers to not return to Italy, CalcioMercato.com can exclusively reveal. The confirmation came indirectly from Antonio Conte who spoke of a "very important fortune" from the potential sale of Icardi, Nainggolan, Perisic, and Gabigol for which he left the ball in the club’s hand. The management decides, of course, but the choice has already been made and Inter is now waiting for the player to make a choice: stay at Flamengo or listen to other proposals. There are clubs in line for Gabigol and the Nerazzurri will expect to receive a high figure.
To be clear, the 20 million plus percentage of resale Flamengo promised a month ago is not enough today according to CalcioMercato.com sources. More significant proposals are needed, Inter is open to meet a price but the sale will have to be more profitable. And it has to be fast, to avoid having the boy return to Milano. It’s a work in progress: after the Libertadores hangover, the next step to be made will be Gabigol's.

I agree, but then look at two other factors here:someone who has failed at 2 european clubs, sorry, but good luck.
he's had 3 coaches call him out for being a completely useless prick.
dont hold your breath guys.
well, he didnt play at benfica, so its hard to suggest what position it would be in.
people pay big money for b razilian players o n potential. Where they've failde to realise that potential not once, but twice, it will SEVERELY hamper the price.
Yea,h we might still get some small PL side might buy him, but it almost doesnt matter too much how he performs in brazil. That's why RM spend ridiculous money on Rodrygo and Vinicus Junior - because of their potential.
Coaches work daily with Gabi on the training ground. Unlike fans like us, coaches don't need official playing time to say he isn't useful.I wouldn't call one half-season stint at Benfica on loan as failing to realize a potential at the age of 21. It was a failed stint, nothing more. He was there with a wrong motivation clearly, didn't get playing time hardly at all (5 games, 1 goal).
Scoring 40 goals in 54 matches is simply impressive. Are you saying that Gabigol is like finished product at the age of 23 while scoring that amount of goals in that amount of games? All this happening AFTER his failure at Europe as a kid actually proves something different. That he is starting to realize his potential.
Of course I don't want Inter anywhere near Gabigol since there is value in this asset and I want to monetize that value. But there is big value for sure, or should be. 20 something million fee is simply ridiculous for that amount of goals.

Amount of goals? You just show the downside of statistics. That is the same league where the second topscorer was...Ricardo Oliveira. Yes, the former AC Milan bencher at nearly 40yo can boss the league.
no one has ever contested his ability to score goals. And arguably scoring 21 in 53 games aged 18 is far more impressive than 40 in 54 aged 23, tbh.I wouldn't call one half-season stint at Benfica on loan as failing to realize a potential at the age of 21.
