After all the shit talk, I hope you're all happy... He did not want to leave.
If he managed to drag this team on his own with turds like Perisic and Candrevas, you can imagine what he can do with PSG havig Mbappe and Neymar.

The hate for Icardi here is strange. For years, without Icardi we might be battling relegation.. he managed to win us games by himself. No one is bigger than the club, but the hate is too much. Never liked him as a person, but he will surely kill it at PSG and I hope we dont meet them so we dont embarass ourselves when he scores.

I am literally heartbroken.. didn't know how I'd end up reacting. But this is really sad.

I can't imagine an inter without Icardi, it's seems he's been here ever since I started supporting inter. The glory days of our club are just too distant and the only thing we knew in the past 8 years is failure. Even when we qualified for the champions league it really took a long time to sink in. It was just unbelievable. I was so used to losing, and mid table finishes. It just feels hard to believe that we will ever be more than a mediocre team after all those years of mediocrity. The best thing about those years was this guy, and how he always gave us hope that as long as we had him, he was going to take us places and he did. He even promised to score for our jersey in the champions league, and he kept that promise and gave us some really memorable moments in our first champions league back.

Even in his final days I really believe that he genuinely wanted to stay, and he regretted what he did. It's too late though, the damage has already been done. It's really a shame how it got to this. Now we're just left with thinking of what might have been.

Really wish him all the best, and I hope he matures and realizes all his wrong doings and that he's being manipulated by his bitch wife. Maybe there can be a reunion in the future. All I can say is thank you for everything, and I hope he wins big things .

There is absolutely no data to suggest we would have been battling relegation without him. In fact people were certain we would fall out of top 4 contention without him last season, but that didn't happen either

yeah man, i think without icardi we will play with Verona for the last places :( this team is lost, what do we make without someone that fakes injuries, doesen't play for months, makes only problems every year...:eek:blivious:

i can understand youre a icardi fan boy, but please don't say he was the best thing like there was no one else in this team that made something good. What about Handanovic or Skriniar for example? youre acting like Icardi is a team...

It sucks for those that only became Inter fans this decade because this guy represented what for us ol ones was Ronaldo back in the day.I was sad when he left and so many young Inter fans must have weeped inside when that happened. But i've been lucky to have witnessed the Inter of Ronaldo,Vieri,Baggio,Bam-Bam,Keane lol,Recoba,Crespo,Adriano,Cruz,Zlatan,Milito,Eto'o and so this doesnt really hurt. But a lot of people never saw that Inter so .........

At a certain age a bloke just cant help but fanboy some player. We've all been there :pedobear:.

Dude have you forgotten he had little to no effect in 2019 ...
We got to CL as a team , not as a one man show!

Man the fuck up ,

The lack of optimism is a disgrace.

I remember been sad when Adriano left but that was due to the circumstances ! And the fact he had his whole career still Infront of him.

Stockholm Syndrome.

If he really wanted to stay, he wouldn't submit a lawsuit. He kept Inter under his captivity because Inter was too afraid to lose him. If the lawsuit wasn't leaked out to the media, he would stay and create much more drama.

He is not manipulated by his bitch wife. They are both in the same frequency. Fire ants will only live with fire ants.

Good luck Icardi. I don't hold any grudges for any player. He at least gave us lots of joy and 100 wonderful goals, so thank you for that.

I am sure we will do even better without him with the team we have right now. It's time to move on people.

It's better to draw a veil over everything that happened in the last infamous months, at least for now, but at the end of the day we found a potential solution to this mess and Steven Zhang kept his promise (“no” to Juventus and “yes” to the best interest for the player).

The outcome is a bit ironic if we consider how the rossonerazzurro Leonardo talked about Icardi in the past, but I suppose things can change (just like the colours) and circumstances do the rest (especially the loan+option formula).

Pushing the narrative a bit, just for fun: this also feels like an important moment in the process of “de-morattization” of Inter as a club (with regard to some of the negative aspects of “Morattism” and its symbols). As always, to the posterity the tough sentence about Suning, Marotta and not only them.

I know, Mauro and Wanda have been deprived of their power and authority, dethroned and exiled from the city by people who had no right to “FC Icardese Milano”, but the couple just received their compensation after the high treason and shouldn't complain that much.

If Icardi still remembers how to marquer les buts, and he certainly does, maybe PSG will splash the cash and we can all move on.

To sum things up, quoting a wise man: hopefully this “diritto di riscatto” (option for PSG to buy Icardi) won't become another “diritto di ricatto” (option for Wanda and Mauro to blackmail us).
