How could he play 7 seasons at fullback and still not learn how to put in a proper cross??? How???? It's so frustrating watching him "take on" opposition defenders by slamming ball after ball into their legs. I only remember him completing one cross last season.

10 years of FIFhe's also so stupid with the ball when he has a chance to cross he chooses to dribble more giving a chance for the opposition player to reach him and block him when he finally crosses so his football iq is bad he doesn't improve at all not to forget the match against fiorentina where palacio was covering for him.

The idea of someone like Nagatomo playing for Inter for that long is sad and comical at the same time, let alone signing him in the first place.
Naturally, players like him, Wome, Jonathan, Ranocchia, Muntari, Rivas, A.Cesar, M.Gonzales and Gresko are foolishly signed by every top club all the time, but eventually they are kicked out in 1-2 seasons after realizing how mediocre/disastrous they are. Only Inter have reached this legendary achievement in putting Nagatomo (and Ranocchia on the way) right up there with players like Cambiasso, Samuel, Maicon and Cordoba.

10 years of FIFA fullback needs to do something and Nagatomo does jack shit but send horrible crosses in. Bad defending, bad positioning, offers support upfront but doesn't do much there. He has pace and that's it. If he's not a defensively strong fullback, then yes, he should at least be consistently putting in good crosses. You'd think after so many years he would have improved a lot by now.
