How shit he was last night?

He couldn't control the received ball from simple pass, every time he received the ball, the ball would just bounce three yard away from his feet and those led to the first goals we conceded. The second goal was conceded because he couldn't follow his opponent. Literally, he couldn't protect the ball and was stolen by amateur players. In offensive side, he provided nothing, cannot cross, cannot dribble and his pass is so predictable.

Must be something mental cause he was pretty good in the preseason.

But we still have to pay 2 million for nothing... And in all fairness, the guy is better than Santon.

And now the roles are reversed, I kinda like how Santon plays...

Average at best. No wonder Barca fans didnt give a single fuck about him. He would probably rather sit in Barca's bench playing with his gay teammates cocks rather than play regular minutes in another team.

He better get his shit togeter.

This reminds me a lot of when Juventus signed Eljero Elia, who I for one thought was going to be a very good player. Prior to signing he made some comments about Juventus not being a step up from Hamburg. Conte maybe used him twice the entire year.

That he wishes that he will return to Barcelona one day.

He could return to Barca in winter. We have enough fullbacks right now and he's useless. Ship him back and get Bruno Peres next summer.

Call him our best fullback after a couple of preseason matches and now ask for his head after one bad friendly... Talk about overreaction!

If those rumors about Mancini wanting to send him back are true who could blame him for his bad game?

He doesn't have motivation obviously. If Mancini prefers Santon over him, there is something wrong this guy with cuz Santon is completely average player. If Montoya cannot challenge him for starting spot...
And the pre-season doesn't have so much weight on. Dodo was also bossing in preseason two years ago, but when the season started, he turned to a flop.

Doesn't sound like a La Masia graduate.

Santon might be average in defense but he can be pretty dangerous when attacking.

For me he's quite predictable when attack. In the most of times, when he receives the ball he rushes forward on the wing and then he turns to the central area and stops and starts wondering what to do. He has problems to beat anyone 1 vs 1 and his crossing sucks aswell. In my point of view even JJ looks more dangerous in attack.

He can be pretty dangerous when he acts as an inverted-wingback. That's how he assisted last season when playing vs Celtic. He cut in and dribbled, dragging players to him and creating more space for the others.

Every single one of our full backs does that.

Especially the 1v1 and the crossing part.

I don't know much about his defensive skills, but he made some intelligent runs in pre-season. If we had a good passer to pick him out *whistle*, he can provide a nice attacking outlet. That all depends on how well he can defend though.

Yep. Because of that i'm saying that he's average like all of the others fullbacks in our team. (of course i still dont know about Telles)

Everyone needs to calm the fuck down and give this boy some space. He gives us class from Barcelona which we lack. Icardi and Sylvinho alone aren't enough. He also came from Barcelona's academy. Do you know who came from Barcelona's academy? Lio Messi. Along with Santon we have two treble winners in our team which has to be unprecedented.

Forza Juan Pablo Montoya. I believe in you to become Maicon's true successor.
