If that true I really hope WM will eat his own shit for not playing Il Capitano in his last derby...

Would it have really been a favor?

Mazzarri: "Pupi, warm up son! Go in & be a part of this miserable game, so you can remember for the rest of your life how shitty the last derby you played in was."

I see it way different tbh. Cudos to Mazzarri for not playing him. :work:

Very interesting point here.
However, he could've started both Milito & JZ, and maybe the derby wouldn't have been so shitty. Wtf does Jonathan & Icardi know about Madonnina. I'm usually supportive of Mazzarri, but him not including these two was a mistake on many levels, as no matter how they've fallen in quality over the years (or injuries), they're the only ones, along with Cuchu, that will give their everything and more in this sort of match. Not to mention that it was their last Milan derby. Seedorf had the balls and respect to go and hug JZ before and after the game, while Mazzarri had the balls to bench them both and saw a pathetic display. Judge for yourself.

You have a good point though, but I thought that WM was gonna play JZ as a captain from the first minute!
I don't expect him to play in the middle of the shitty game...

I totally agree with you! Derbys should be played by experienced players, or ar least by someone who had already played some. Personally, I remember some derbys where an old, experienced player who had dropped his level and was in the bench in this kind of matches they give their 200%, meanwhile players like Kovacic or Icardi are intimidated and are not the same...

My opinion is that Zanetti is a legend, no discussion about that, but it was a bad game by our team, Milan did lead, and WM tried at least to sub in some strikers to score a goal.
There was no reason for Mazzarri to use Zanetti at this point. Nothing, right. Then we say fuck Mazzarri for not trying to win the game and enter a defender when we're 1-0 down (like Strama did :yao: )

If Simeone and Figo are in Grande Inter where is Javier Zanetti than? We should change something there.

They're gonna send him to an english course, give him a nice haircut, put a Inter suit on him & give him a corporate title, just like Cordoba & let him sit on the bench. Because we're just too caring & sentimental to let our players go after they have nothing more to deliver on the bench.

Investing on Zanetti >>> Investing on Branca's sex vacations.

The other option would be doing what Milan does to their legends (Pirlo)... & how Juve treats their legends (Del Piero).

Speaking of the English course... "Hello, my name is Javier Zanetti. Dis iz a blackboard."

This hurts much much more than the Derby loss

What a man
What a player
What a captain

Sad....

JZ didn't deserve this as a final season. Definitely deserved a much better send off. Sitting on the bench all season long, not being able to contribute, and not being able to lead HIS team all because a dumb fucking coach wants to play 3-x-x.

Seriously Walter? A symbol of our club, a player who's averaged over 4k minutes every season for so long all of a sudden only gets 400 minutes? And it's not because we're Real Madrid now....we're still shit and his replacements are still shit.

On a really serious note; FUCK MAZZARRI. Inter management should be ashamed that they allowed an outsider to come in an disrespect the legacy of Zanetti. Not even a fucking MILANISTA (leo) came in and disrespected Zanetti like this.

Inter deserves everything that's happening to us right now. We've treated a lot of players badly, but to do it to JZ is simply unreal.
