Should we use the option to buy Guarin?

Scored against Samp
against Trapani:scored a nice goal from the FK and provided the PK,looked the most lively of the bunch also shot the post(unlucky)..man of the match for me

Stop shiting on him if he is a little on the slow side because he actually does usefull things

I'm not a Guarin fanboy I just see things as they are.And if he is more usefull than Kova he needs to start simple as that and I'm a Kova fanboy

Thanks for this post. Everyone has bitching on Guarin that he's lazy individualist, but he was the one who tried the most today, looked way more active than Kovacic for example.

Well, maybe he should stop trying so hard to be an individual.

That's the thing. If he simplified the way he plays and stopped being the (unsuccesful) CR7 clone, he could be a more valuable player to us. But right now - how it is - he is unpredictable. I wish he was more consistant with his good games, doing just what is needed, that's the difference between him and a player like Valero...

Was pretty good today imo, cut down the stupid shots and actually fought hard all game in midfield

Three. Needs to work a lot in the passing. Gives away too many balls.

Yeah, I thought he did well today. Good fighting spirit too, there was one play when he chased down 3 guys and helped win the ball back. Also, nice move to cut to his left foot and get us the goal. A lot of the times when he's on the right wing, he tends to lose the ball, but he usually has 2 guys on him at all times.

He can try hardest ever if he continues to play like an headless chicken when he has the ball on his feet. It's impossible to understand what he wants to do with the ball, the guy is awfuly hopeless. Get him out of the team in january if possible.. fucking idiot

Apart from the goal, it was another typical performance. He's kept really far away from build up play now, though almost to ensure he doesn't fuck it up. At times he played as high as Palacio did.

The goal for me was a lucky deflection ( which I am happy for ) but apart from this another diabolical performance by the Colombian.

isn't this his 3rd goal in a row? 2 ties because of Gaurin but yea.... .we should pay a hit man to crack Guaro knee. So he doesn't start no more

Even when he loses the ball, he fights hard to win it back. And succeeds very often. Decent game for him, not the best, but not the worst.

If everyone was to blame for this draw, it can be Handanovic, Ranocchia, Cambiasso, but not Guarin.

Oh. I'm not blaming him for the draw at all. In the player threads we are obviously talking about individual performance. In the match thread we examine the collective, with that stated his individual effort was a failure. The team has to take the blame for the draw, with integral cracks all over the pitch as a unit.

it's not the losing the ball that pisses me off, it's HOW he loses it, in the mos simplest ways you can imagine

Yes, he scored.
Yes, he fought.
And yes, he fucking plays the same game.

No matter how many goals, no matter how hard he fights, he is not playing for the team, it's like he's playing for his own score.

Taider has to start over him IMO. Especially if our DM is going to be Cambiasso who has no legs. I'd like to see today's line up with Nagatomo for Zanetti and Taider for Guarin.

Well, Taider should start over Cambiasso. His runs can be way more effective than Cuchu's. Guarin played good today. Worked hard, gained possession. Gave 4-5 bad possession wasting balls. But played good.

Got to admit, he scores, so there's no reason to bench him.

Guaro was an asshole in the first half and was brilliant in the second. One thing I noticed, he was thinking too much when he had the ball and made him clumsy.
