In an attacking sense, what I'll give Taider is that he has dangerous free kicks and he seems to understand how to get into threatening situations. Beyond that, I can't remember him connecting a pass or cross, and aside from his goals against Sassuolo he's really unable to get on the end of passes/crosses (Guarin's goal against Samp is just one example of many). So there's hope for him to be able to have an impact in attack, he just has to improve his physical presence.

Guarin, I've written many many paragraphs about him in this topic. My stance is that he would be absolutely flawless for us if he were to get/take on less attacking responsibility. Until that day comes, he'll continue to mix the amazing with the terrible every game.

Kova needs to get much more assertive, to say the least.


Basically, all three options have promise in an attacking sense, but in the end, for one reason or another, fail to deliver. Which one has the best chance of success? The guy who tries to attack but can't (Taider), the guy who forces attacks to happen unnaturally because he feels responsible for the entire team (Guarin), or the guy with the technical ability to create attacks that just doesn't go for it (Kova)?

Isn't it true? Taiders crossing has been superb, his free kicks as well. Every long pass of him is accurate and dangerous. Already has goal and assist. Him being more defensive oriented doesn't mean he is not good at going forward, he is pretty good in that. His off the ball movement in the attacking third has been superb as well, too bad most of the balls he got in and around the box were few inches away, or too strong.

Kovacic is way more talented, but Taider so far is WAY more efficient and has shown more. That being said, i'd love to see Guarin on the bench and both Taider and Kova in the starting lineup more often.

I can't stress enough how much i want him out of Inter. I don't have anything against him as a person, but i have everything against as a football player. I mean, he have physics to be one of the best players in the world, but he have zero football talent.It's like, i have perfect long fingers for playing piano, but not have hearing whatsoever. If that rumor with Barca is real, i'm all for it. Giving in mind that some people (even in Inter staff) still see him as a some kind of key player for this squad, means that if we sell him we'll need to replace him with another player which will be key in the squad. And that will bring us immediate impact.Imagine, we sell him and buy Nainggolan in January. That will mean playing Alvarez where he's best (AM), and playing Nainggolan in midfield(B2B). That will bring us more balance in defence, which means we can play Kovacic as a starter without be afraid for our defence (even though i don't think he is bad in defending). After we do this, we just need to buy LWB this January, and we are all set for ending Top 3 this season. If we can take Lavezzi on a loan deal with right to purchase at the end of the season that would be great, but only as a loan, not to splash tons of millions wich can be used way more better.
