I think that Ranocchia is a good player, but I don't see him getting to the next level. How is Conte or anyone else going to cure his complete lack of pace? Or the fact that he loses concentrating quite often? I don't think there is anything anyone can do for him. His errors might disappear with more experience, and Juve defend better as a team so that would help him. I for one would feel quite good if we were playing Juve with Ranocchia in their side though, because you'll always have the chance to make him look stupid with fast players....if we had fast players

No way Inter should be allowed to sell Ranocchia to Juve for Isla. There is no great team in the world that changes the core of team on annual basis. If Inter somehow do it, we have to question our management's commitment to develop our own players, in that case we are not different with those mid-table feeder clubs.

Udinese Isla is quality, no doubt about that. But, as you all know, he just had bad knee injury, the reason why his appearances for Juve were very limited in last season. Nobody can answer exactly whether he can back to his performance level he showed with Udinese in the future. One thing for sure, he is competing with Lichtsteiner, who's in the form of his life, for starting RWB position. Or, in another words, Isla is a surplus to Juve's requirement. On other hand, Ranocchia is gaining his confidence and starting to perform well together with Juan Jesus (despite having hiccups in some occasions). I just don't like the idea to trade our future player just to enhance our main rival, or in worst case weaken our team as well, if we couldn't find a good replacement.

Ranocchia will never be world class. He'll play decent in a team that is a solid unit, but he is not a world class defender that can kill top strikers on his own and as we saw this season, as soon as the team starts to shake, Ranocchia starts to shake two times faster. He just lacks the concentration for it... as I say many times, he can be great for 89 minutes but he'll always have that 1 minute when he gives away great chance to score. That is the main mistake Inter fans make when judging him - he'll make tons of great tackles so people praise him and forgive him for being step or two behind the striker on one occasion which ended with goal.

I was all for selling Rano, but assuming that Mazzari plays a 3manD, he should stay.

For CBs, we have Rano, Juan, Pasa, Campagnaro, Andreolli hoping for Chivu, Silvestre and Samuel to leave. Even if one of them stay then we have 6 which we need for a 3manD.

I'm positive Rano will look much better with Campagnaro as a leader beside him and under a good tactician and would be able to avoid 70% of his brainfarts.

I'm pretty confident it won't happen. We paid TONS for Ranocchia and we can't valuate Isla to the same price. No matter what is the actual quality of these players.
