The legendary striker feels both men will not leave as he blames money-hungry agents for creating transfer rows...
Former Inter legend Sandro Mazzola believes striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and defender Maicon will remain at the club, despite reported interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Reports earlier this morning in the Spanish press claimed Inter had agreed a deal with Barcelona which would have seen 'Ibra' move to the Camp Nou. The news was followed by Maicon's claims in La Gazzetta Dello Sport. The player claimed he was being pushed out by the club.
However, despite all the hype, Mazzola, who is very close to the Nerazzurri, feels neither striker nor defender will leave during the summer. The legend has heaped all the blame on player agents, claiming they threaten clubs in order to procure better payment for their stars.
"Ibrahimovic and Maicon will not leave Inter," Mazzola told Italian press agency ADNKRONOS.
"I think it's just the usual mechanisms which agents use in order to get more money.
"Ibrahimovic says he is unhappy? If he is not happy at Inter where he earns €12million and has Massimo Moratti as president, then where will he be happy?"
Inter have yet to release a statement on the Ibrahimovic to Barcelona rumours.
