I would say he is in top 5 best leftback in the world, but too bad as an East Asian he has handicap in term of speed and power.

each player have its own recovery pace, probably a few games with reserve team to help him gain some match fitness
or
probably he wants to go to mu or real madrid (assuming the rumours are true)

He is good player, but I have no idea how Naga really messes with his crosses and he tends to drift inside lately. The latter isn't big problem, but the former is. AFAIK Inter was interested in him when he played impressively as the traditional left wing that hugged touchline and sent a cross.
