Well, to make the topic half useful, I think DJ is now playing in Major League Soccer with Metro Stars. I'm not sure about this but wherever he is, good luck and thanx for the memories.

Helping Handoyo stay on topic, Youri Djorkaeff is one of my favorite Inter players of all-time. He and Ronaldo were magicians together when i first started supporting this club, and one can never forget how much of an artist the frenchmen was. Sadly, his career fell quickly - but the memories are great!

I recently heard him on ESPN speaking english and he sounded excited about the chance to play for the Metro Stars. I wish him the best of luck, definately a class act. He had nothing but praises for Inter, as well.

I never really 'clicked' with Djorkaeff. Maybe I wasn't mature enough to appreciate his abilities but something about him just made me never really like him.

I think it was because Djorkaeff's training morale worsened after WC 98. I know he had same problems in Kaiserslautern.

Anyway nice magic from Djorkaeff in MLS. He will always be a nerazzurro.

When he scored that incredible acrobatic kick vs Roma, the fans at the S Siro kept cheering him for 10 MINUTES.

The players resumed play and the fans were still standing up clapping their hands, Youri said that was incredible (I bet!).

I seem to remeber a picture in which he was standing in the Curva Nord when he was injured.

I also remember an incident when he refused to play for Kaiserslautern because he came to watch Inter-AC...

Can anyone confirm this?
