Not bad, except you have Ibra in Deco's position and Balotelli in Ibra's position...

I maked one place for Deco before Ibra.. Deco for playmaking, and Ibra after Deco for making assists and shoots :p lol balotelli and milito just waiting for any troubble lol

I would like a box-to-box midfielder in the CM position of a 4-3-1-2...I don't think Deco would come back to defend.

He has done that all his career. The only question mark is whether he can still do it at his age, if he still has the stamina to defend and attack.

i like this formation.
Milito as a main goalscorer supported by 2 giant who has speed and exellent dribbling skill. In the center there are creativity from deco and motta who has good passing ability

It seems that this formaton has a lot of probabilities to be true.Although i think balotelli might be instead of arnautovic But overall seems pretty good.

I like this formation, but in defend i'll change position cordoba with carvalho, and cordoba leaving in bench samuel in first formation, midfield it's not very good, maybe zanetti in motta's position can be goo, and in attack it's good :)

Putting Zanetti in the midfield will instantly make the midfield poor.

---Zlatan---Milito---
-------Modric-------
----Motta---Melo---
-----Cambiasso-----
Kolarov------Zanetti
---Chivu--Samuel---
-------Cesar--------

I am not a fan of 4-3-3, so I would like to see us stick with 4-4-2 diamond. Melo is worldclass central midfielder. I am sure Mourinho loves his charasteristics. Kolarov would be ideal replacement for Maxwell (I still hope he leaves). While his positioning could be better, his strong physique helps alot. Maxwell clearly belongs to la Liga.

I don't think it is possible to sign Kolarov, Melo and Modric without selling some. Maicon seems to be unsettled. While I think he is the best rightback in the world, we are in a ridiculously good shape when it comes to RB's. Santon should get more time on right and I personally feel that Zanetti's incapability to pass the ball more than 5 metres is hindering our build-up play on midfield. Even the short passes are too often backpasses. While he never seems to lose the ball, sometimes playing a one-time pass would prevent him from even getting in a trouble in the first place. He sure knows how to protect the ball. I'd rather see player move it quickly. Don't get me wrong, I think he is one of the greatest defenders of our time and I love the man. Mourinho likes to have many versatile midfielders. Cambiasso, Motta, Melo and Modric could really keep the possession and still be up for fight and be strong when opponent is having possession.

Modric is now very much ready for Inter. One year in England had a huge effect. He played extremely well at the end of the season in a league more physical and fast. His skill was never in doubt, now he has also shown he can play in a physical match, outshined Chelsea's midfield. Tottenham seems to be interested in Muntari and Obinna. Deal could be possible. I also think he is more talented than Sneijder or Elano. Another interesting prospect would in my view be another croat, Ivan Rakitic.

I know that this may not be a popular first post but my line up for 09/10 would be.

--------------------Julio Cesar (Toldo)
------Cordoba (Burdisso)----Carvalho (Samuel)
Santon (Zanetti)--------------------------Chivu (Maxwell)
----------------Cambiasso (Stankovic)
-----Elano (Deco)-----------------Motta (Muntari)
------------------------------------------------------
Ibrahimovic (Arnautovic)----------------Cassano (Ballotelli)
-----------------Milito (Obinna)

Sell Maicon for 25M + Elano and spend 12M on Carvalho and Deco. Then sell Viera, Quaresma, Mancini and Rivas which you will get at last £12M for, leaving enough for the purchase of Cassano.

Although I'd be very sorry to see Maicon go, we would be adding three or four quality additions that could help us in our quest for the elusive Champions League glory.

Ok, I forgot Zanetti last time, so this is my revised formation:

--------------------Julio Cesar (Toldo)
------Cordoba (Burdisso)----Carvalho (Samuel)
Maicon (Santon)--------------------------Chivu (Maxwell)
----------------Cambiasso (Stankovic)
Deco/Elano/Melo (Zanetti)----------Muntari (Motta)
------------------------------------------------------
Ballotelli (Arnautovic)----------------Cassano (Quaresma)
-----------------Ibrahimovic (Milito)

No way Jose..............Mourinho............what?

--------------JC------------
Maicon-Carvalho-Chivu-Santon
--Melo---Cambiasso---Muntari-
-----------Elano--------------
---------Milito-----Ibra-------

I'd want Cassano if we sold Ibra. Actually I'd want Cassano either way, but I don't know where to put him.

Yeah :( now if we want to buy him, we need to pay 2 times more than he costs to get him in Inter

I have no idea of how good arnautovic is, but we need a backup attacker if cruz is leaving. For me Maicon and Zlatan must stay no matter what.

I'd like a player like Aguero or Ribery to come as our number 10, but we seem more interested in "unknown" players. I was very sad when Diego signed for juventus since I wanted him for Inter for years now. Elano is great as well, and also buying players from the Azzuri would give us a better image as well.
On the matter of Carvalho, I can't see how he's an upgrade on Walter since the Wall is much better.

Felipe Melo playing with the Inter shirt would make my day as well

Very interesting Mourinho's interview. I couldn't understand everything with translator but this one piece I got.

http://translate.google.com/transla...ad&idnotizia=6110&sl=it&tl=en&history_state0=

It's interesting that Mourinho has complained about the aging squad of Inter (also earlier). But still he's wanted Milito, and he wants also Carvalho+Deco. In this interview he complained how it's hard to have trainings when the average age is 32 (or something), I can perfectly understand him.

The age structure of the squad is fucked up and it won't get better by getting two 30-year-olds more! Even if many old players have left or will leave, we should still concentrate on getting more players at the age of 20-25. And not 25-30, let alone 30+.

For example defence. If we get Carvalho and dump Burdisso+Rivas, for the season 2010/2011 we'll have Cordoba (34), Materazzi (37), Samuel (32), Chivu (30) and Carvalho (32). Not too wise to me. Midfield is not so bad but there aren't any youngsters coming other than 18-year-old Coutinho.

We need more young blood! That way we can build a squad with continuity and with the development of those younger players (20-25) we can reach better success.

You cant just get rid off the old squad, its a gradual process .

Milito is bought and then arnautovic is bought as we need 2 experienced strikers and two young strikers. We cant have 3 young ones. Strikers: 27,30,18,20 its perfect age structure.

Midfield is ok in terms of age although stankovic is 32 and need replacing soon.
Im against deco but if we get him on loan until coutinho comes im ok with it,provided we get another attacking midfielder in the age bracket of 20-25.

In midfield we are bringing up younsters like obi, krhin who are 18-20 age bracket.

Ok now the main problem, the defence. They are all old .Getting carvalho cannot be bad as he brings good experience with him and he would be able to create a better defence with us.

Defenders age is not that critical, especially the fact that the older ones play better. We surely need new blood next year to replace cordoba and samuel a bit later.

So for every youngster we bring ,we bring an experienced player.
We dont need to become arsenal and have high school boys to play for us ,we need a balanced team.I agree that we need from now on start looking at the 20-25 age brackets.

I think he meant there were none youth players to work with besides Mario, Santon and Bolzoni. I think that is what he meant, that there are no inclusions of young players every year, thus aging the squad. With young players included, the average age of the squad is more likely to be balanced.
