The only position he could play(at his best) would be Cuchu/Vieira position. So one of them you would have to put off.

there's impossible 4 Inter to play with a diamond tactics cause where you will put Figo or Mancini??? they're Winger n never hv a role in a team with diamond tactics.. Inter must hv player like Kaka or Totti if want to use those tactics... LoL ^^

Cambiasso is not a playmaker. This position is for a player of likes of Pirlo. There is only 1 player right now in our team that can play there - Pizarro.

The second tactic is better, although I don't think Stankovic is destined for AMC position. He is central midfielder and he always be that kind of player to me.

The biggest problem with the second tactic you pictured is what micah ken wrote. We can't play diamond in the middle because, we have too many wingers in the squad. If we were up to change the tactic, we would get rid of those players by now.

The same thing. Vieira is no playmaker, and Pizarro is no attacking midfielder.

It's really hard to figure out what Mancini is going to do. Vieira coming will change a lot, and we can play right now a lot, a lot kind of tactics.

The same is with the strikers we're gonna have (I mean the number of them). We can play 4-4-2 (with Vieira/Cuchu/David) in the center, we can play 4-3-3 (2 kinds of them). I'm kinda excited to see how we're gonna play this season. I really am. Although this coach was not what I had in mind

He played 2 last seasons as a defensive midfielder, and he is surely better than Cristiano. I agree Vieira is better, but that doesn't change the way I see Esteban. To me he is a defensive midfielder.

OWWW what a poor opinion about Cambiasso!!!??? he's absolutely great Defensive Midfielder!!! he's a great tackler!! he's a great marker!!!
and of course he's so good to covers his areas..... great DEFMID... and he's also a great playmaker just like vieira that's why it'll be great to hv them both on the field...

Let's not exaggerate here, Cambiasso doesn't give physical presence to our midfield, he isn't a Viera-type of player nor a C.Z-type of player. Cambiasso is a two way midfield, and that's why we failed to play against big teams as they all have big and strong players in the middle.

I would have tried to build something like this, some spark and unpredictability wouldn't hurt, not to mention a good finisher. I know Aimar would have been kind of awkward move, but would have been perfect man to execute Mancini-like fast short passing game, unlike the likes of Veron and Riquelme. He never slows the game down. I was kind of sad to se him go to Zaragoza. The line-up Might have been even realistic considering the low price of Aimar and Vieira. This all would obviously require the selling of Adriano. Which would, by the way, be an excellent move by our management.

Wow, what a pointless post, with no touch with the real world. I'll get back to this subject when I have time. But now I just want to say, that at the moment, I'm VERY happy with our squad, bar strikers. I don't think it's far fetched to think, that both Maxwell and Maicon will end up being excellent wingers for Serie-A, not fullbacks. Yeah, both of them.
