JZ, Matrix, Cordoba, Lucio, Samuel, Milito are not young

we need a good base group for years to come and only players I see fit that role are Maicon (wants to leave), JC, and Santon

While young players are good, we once had next Overmars, next Maldini, next Sukur and next Stojkovic in one squad. I tell you it wasn't pretty.

I dont think we could replace JC, Santon (might not start but def a world class in future) or Maicon... could even put super Mario here buy his attitude is why I question him

Thankfully, Hleb is included in the Eto deal (as Moratti said it in inter.it). Something is better than nothing huh. So, this will be our basic squad list until now (if the deal goes through):

Getting Hleb (Moratti confirmed) means we have to get rid of Mancini too, or then I don't see Cassano coming. Since Arnautovic will be there too.

That was some time ago, but it's not like making Mancini to be a central deffender.

As I checked and posted couple of days ago, back in Stuttgart days(CL), Hleb played in every possible position in midfield except for deffensive midfielder. It isn't a suprise since he does a lot of running and he works in deffense.

Stuttgart days were long time ago. Wenger made Hleb what he is known right now, and that is not central midfielder in 4-3-3. I mean it's great if he's up to the task, but I seriously doubt Mourinho thinks that way. This might lead Mourinho using 4-3-1-2 with Hleb in "free role" as AM, meaning leaning to the flanks like Figo did when he was played at that position. And making the formation a bit like 4-3-3 in the sense that there are three offensive players and 3-man central midfield capable of defending well.

But it's interesting to see how Mourinho puts all the pieces together now with Eto'o and Hleb coming.

In order to make Eto a good transfer, Inter have to sign a really good playmaker. No matter what people say in denial regarding the Ibra and Eto transfer and that Eto is a better player then Ibra dont know what they are talking about. They are two player who offer diffrent things , the only thing that they share is that they are forwards. Eto will offer speed and a an eye for the goal, two imported things, espacilly Etos speed will be become very handy in the UCL, as Inter as team is genarally slow.

However Etos first touch and vision, well is supringsly bad or should I say inconsistent, it is a fact he needs a player who can give those nice passes in order to be truely effective and as we all know, Inters midfield has the creativtivty of a rock atm. Hleb maybe offer some creativty, but its asking to much of him to be the creative outline of our team, the guy hasnt played regular first team in a year!

Cassano I feel is a must to truely make Inter a comptivive force in the UCL, as the team whould have all the things a team needs to go for in the champs

My prediction is that the middle part will be passed by Moratti. He will save ~25m€ from Zlatan sale, use ~15m€ to Cassano and ~10m€ to offensive midfielder.

Yes, he might see Hamsik/Sneijder as "already here" with Motta. We can get Deco for less than 10m.
