All people in the balkans speak multiple languages, at least Croatian and Serbian (since they are similar) and English & German because we have their channels + they teach it in schools.

Japanese is popular because of animes and games (example: I usually have Japanese VA in games and it reminds me of German language)

SORRY FOR SPAMMING UP THE BISSECK THREAD. I'm sure Bisseck speaks all the languages

I am having the most issues with French, they speak too fast

True story.

and their numbers don't make sense to me.

They don't, so use the "swiss" method which does

If you want a language where the numbers that don't make sense, try Danish :D

I watched several matches of Chalobah when he was linked with Inter and I think Bissek plays in the same way as him, especially when he joins attacks.
He’s got better technical skills than Chalobah tbh. Probably a bit worse as a pure defender at the moment.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that. Despite his gigantic height, he is pretty flexible and good with the ball. Glad we got a better player for a cheaper price.

The way he often ran against the enemy defence line is it possible for him to take the right wing back role? he is fast enough and dribbles well enough

Let the kid establish himself as a starter vs low-tier teams in home games before we hype him up. He had a great game but there can always be a honeymoon period with young players and some tend to peak with their first couple of performances.

I thought for sure he’d be better off going on loan, but our injury crisis at the back really allowed Bisseck to show what he’s got. And I personally want him at our disposal. Assuming everyone healthy, I’d consider our primary pool of wide CBs to be Pavard, Bisseck, Bastoni, and Darmian. With our primary wingback options being Dumfries, Buchanan (if it goes through), Dimarco, and Augusto. Not sure if we’re cutting Cuadrado or not but maybe he ends up playing some minutes as well.

Portuguese can be learnt from Spanish easily.

This entire post is good, I'm not highlighting this to nitpick at all, but I'm just gonna say that the other way around - Spanish learned from Portuguese - is actually the easier process. Portuguese has all the sounds of the Spanish language, but Spanish doesn't have all the sounds of Portuguese. It's part of the reason I've prioritized Portuguese over Spanish in my studies*; I figure I'm getting 1.5 languages out of studying Portuguese, and that Spanish is sort of a matter of "plugging the gaps" from there.

To varying degrees, I've studied Portuguese, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and even a little bit of Catalan. I can read a decent bit in the first three languages I listed there, but I'm afraid I still wouldn't feel comfortable expressing myself or trying to follow a vocal conversation in any of them. I can follow on television if I have the captions on.

*of course, my studies are erratic as hell and always have been, and they're terminally challenged by the fact that I live in a place where I never have much use or even chance to actually speak a foreign language, with the sole exception of Spanish...I dunno, add this shit to my long list of "resolutions" for 2024 I guess.

Oh, and Bisseck good and all that stuff I guess.

but I did mention it just above that line that Spanish can be learned super easily with a Portuguese (or Italian) background :(

He’s up for December player of the month and might actually win based on what I’m seeing on social media.

nice I spammed social media too haha but everyone was saying bisseck.

In reality should have been Barella but bisseck has been such a surprise that over shadowed him.
