we are in the same group this time. Iran didnt look great anyways...they are not as scary as they used to be. This ofcourse depends on whether Daei has squashed the beef with all the big players.

walla...if you are not ready, I don't know what we are. It seems Qahtani will be back.

Daei is a dickhead...he has left Mahdavikia out for simply personal reasons and nothing else. Now Mehdi isn't what he used to be, but he is still Iran's smartest player and we neither have a rightback nor rightwinger like him, although the Rezaei guy looks promising.
7 years since the last game...let's see what happens. A draw would be a huge result for Iran. Plus Saudi Arabia is handicapped by having Nasser Al-Johar as coach again

Iran were not scary at all in their last games,it will be interesting to see this time around..Saudi shouldnt have a problem qualifying from their group anyways.

Bahrain unfortunately has fallen into the harder group.We face Japan again,hopefully the heat and humidity play apart in the game and we can escape with a positive result like last time...
