i agree with icardiscores. that is clearly a foul by leali which worthy of pk. therefore the reff is allowed to interpret it as a red card although the in that kind of situation other reff might give only yellow. so it's matter of interpretation which both case are valid imo

i dont think palacio was diving there. he clearly was stopped by leali

I personally believe that drawing for contact is alright, even if he could have gotten a shot in. This is what Palacio did against Cesena. He could have gotten a shot at goal, which was impossible to score since he was point blank against the keeper. But he tried to draw for contact by 'pretending' to go round the keeper. That's fine for me.

What I think is wrong is simulation. The incident was obviously not as painful as made out to be and Palacio was obviously baiting the ref's attention for a penalty.

So now do we all agree that diving is so ambiguous and (a tricky) part of the game that we shouldn't condone when other teams use it, just as we don't when we use it. I think it is cheating, because it's influencing the referee, sometimes he knows that it's only a show, but sometimes the referees are really tricked into thinking that a nasty foul just happened and they show straight red cards for something that wasn't even that brutal to begin with.

I think the constant simulations destroy the flow of the game and to some degree, makes the game more boring to watch. But Inter is boring anyway, right now, it looks like we can't score from open play... I don't want them searching for penalties every game, I want them to learn how to unlock defences from open play. Otherwise we won't see CL, maybe not even EL....
