Definitely. I think we would want him at least as a sub against Milan on Saturday so it is absolute must to get medical, register etc. ASAP

Yes. It seemed to be too late for yesterday to go through the medical. So it will be done today morning and then Sneijder will sign and be unveiled to the public. Probably he can take part to the afternoon training session also.

Nice to hear that Cafe, finally we have great news and we sign another great player, I'm quite happy with this mercato from us, now we have great strikers, defenders are great & we have Lucio too(he is one of most experienced defenders in Europe) and Sneijder will improve our midfield there's no doubt for that, just I'll be dream happy if he play against Bilan.

Probably not. We do not have good enough CM at the moment to support the wingers. I imagine he will be used like Lampard for Chelsea and sometimes on the tip of diamond to allow Deki to sit at the back.

Sneijder (in CM in 4-3-3) is something I hope for too, but we have to wait and see how Jose wants to include him in the team, because now we're just sitting in the dark. What I would NOT want, is Sneijder on the wing in 4-3-3. I want Sneijder to play in midfield, and two of Mario/Arnautovic/Quaresma/Eto'o-Milito to play on the wings.

ps. That is for someone who says, I always act like I was in Jose's head There are no clues about how Sneijder will play in 4-3-3, so I don't know/can't guess(there is no base for that) - simple.

I agree with you there Luka, Sneijder is best as a CM who has the freedom to go forward. I read a very intresting article about how Snejijder is best used as a more deep lying playmaker, and even though he had some succes as a pure number 10, the best way to use Sneijder is to have him lower in the field, according to this article. Made sense to me

Interesting. The madrid fans that I have talked to seem to feel he played better just behind the front 2 as opposed to when he played deeper.

I thought about it and i was wrong, we could have gone for both since Hleb was only going to be a loan deal and both could play together. Thats why i dont see a reason why Mancini or Quaresma should leave because along with Sneijder they are the only offensive players we have, but if we do sell one of our wingers we have to get another offensive player.

You're probably right, since Hleb chose Stuttgart because we couldn't guarantee him a spot in the starting line-up. Hleb was never really interested in coming to us, I believe.
