Fuck. Can you imagine that. After a hard days work, you're looking forward to spending the evening with your beloved wife and children, you come home and the first thing you see when you open the front door is fucking Mazzarri in your living room.

ForzaMancini wouldn't mind.

Him going to Watford doesn't make much sense. Watford is a club that relies on selling players, they're owned by the family who also owns Granada and Udinese and the blue print of their business is to play young players who were brought in with the great scouting network they have and sell them for a big profit. Not really an ambitious club when it comes to trophies or getting as high up the table as possible, find it hard Mazzari would be thrilled of the prospect of coaching them unless they give him the freedom he seeks? Which is unlikely to say the least.

They may be getting a bit more ambitious in EPL, because the money is at another level these days - only a handful of clubs in Italy make more money than even the worst side in EPL. Pozzo is clever, he knows that they have to stay in the EPL at whatever cost, and that requires investment.

Maseru clearly wants to try out a new league, and has been parked in England for about a year learning the language and the culture. I think he will happily accept any EPL club at this point.

Plus, he can't be a chooser, since so far in his career he's accomplished fuck all and although he acts like he's been declining offers left and rigth I doubt there were many, since after all the doing nothing he isn't joining some top team or something, even an aspiring one.

Di Marizo is reporting that he is the new Watford coach. Good for him for saving us 1 month worth of wages.

I wish you the worst Mazzarri at Watford. Hope the players don't understand a word you say, revolt and you get sacked in 6 months.

I feel like people here are misjudging Mazzari the manager out of sheer hatred, he is by no means a shit one, on the contrary he is a very good one. His time at Inter has been miserable, dreadful and outright horrible but that doesn't erase all the good work he's done before. At Samp he did well and Napoli exceptionally well.

If he's to go to England that follows the recent trend of Italian managers coaching over there, also follows this generalization of the big European leagues:
- Serie A, it's all about the historic big clubs.
- La Liga, it's all about the superstar players.
- Premier League, it's all about the coaches (Pep, Wenger, Conte etc).

It's not awkward, it's just anti mainstream. I guess he Will successfull enough there, as his tactic might create problem for another club that never face that tactic before.

The fact he had good results elsewhere throughout his career just highlights the sheer horror of his time at Inter. He was a manager that knew better and could've done better here, and yet decided to throw all of his qualities out the window to completely embrace stubborness and arrogance. Time will tell if he used his Inter-financed holiday to think about his mistakes or if he still fancies himself as a great guy who was just misunderstood and wronged by a cruel world.

If he used this time to polish his abilities, who knows, maybe he'll do well in England. If he still thinks that Guardiola copied his moves, like he used to say when he was in Napoli, then his qualities will be overshadowed by his personality flaws.
