Useless possession game from us against Parma or any other opponents. The only reason we have that kinda possession is coz we keep on passing between our midfielders and defenders without attacking the opposition's box - no wonder we won't got 2 corners, as opposed to 5 for Parma. Yeah I know, that not the main point - getting more corners BUT what I meant to say is that it is useless to have more possession if all we do is:

Pass sideways (right/left), pass forward only to pass back right away, then going down all the way to our goalkeeper and the trend continues before we lose possession.

Useless possession game from us. Looked like a relegation battle game or lets say - Serie B game - I say that with some doubts, as I think that even they might do better than us.

After those 1-4 against Cagliari is pointless to talk about Mazzari-yes or no things. He clearly needs to go from Inter. Result wise, playing wise, Inter is unwatchable in every point of view under him as a coaching boss. His whole idea of playing football is figured out and he won't surprise anyone with that. Predictable as day/night. Whenever Inter concedes first, almost never comes back, at least not with a win, not even with a draw recently. I felt good not watching them after that horror against Cagliari and I don't know why I forced myself to watch them yesterday after I saw they were losing from the very beginning. I had that hopeless feeling as many times these last few years. Last year he finished 5th after a season when Strama finished 9th, he conceded much less than him, and that's why I think he had a justified coaching room of breathe for this year from the management. Now Thohir has no reason to keep him.

Top 5 is above our potential? That's ridiculous. You're either overrating our rivals, or underrated us. Are we clearly a top-3 side? No, definitely not, but we're not weaker than Fiorentina, especially when they're missing Gomez and Rossi, and we're not weaker than Milan or Lazio either. Could Milan or Lazio finish ahead of us because they don't have Europe and we do? Yeah, it's fairly plausible. However, to say it is above our potential is flat-out dumb.

I think Thohir like many people on the forum overestimated our efforts last season. Not playing in Europe is a huge advantage to any big side. There is a reason why teams that play in the Europa league basically never qualify for the CL in the same season. Last year was the perfect opportunity to get to the CL while all our major rivals were playing in Europe bar Roma. We let in slip. People seemed to think that finishing 5th was the best we could have hoped for last season, yet if they actually cared to look the circumstances of the other sides they would have realized we had perfect conditions to do well, while the liked of Fiorentina and Milan were missing many key players while playing an extra game every week.

Mazzarri did poorly last season, and he is continuing to do.
