APPIANO GENTILE - Walter Samuel underwent medical tests today to assess the entity of the injury sustained during the opening minutes of Inter's match against Reggina. The Argentine defender has suffered a second-grade strain of the flexor muscles of his left thigh.

Samuel had physical therapy at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti this afternoon.

Just as he start get some chances to become the starting lineup he got injured. What a bad luck! Hope he recover soon. Btw, do u guyz think Samuel will be staying with us after this season?? I am afraid he want to move on consider his age and number of matches he wanna play. I would hate to let him go and losing him will be a great plus to any other Serie A top sides. But I have to admit that I think he will be looking for an exit, just hoping that he doesnt end up in Milan or Juve

I already had this discussion w/ Hal. Moggi or not that player's contract was registered with our team. No one could force us to sell him, especially not for what we got for him. I would have rather gotten some money as we got was a fking insult. A black smear that remains within our club.

I didn’t know you and Hal had this discussion earlier so I won’t go on about it. But I guess one key element for your club success is to have a peaceful environment and the right harmony within the squad (in the dressing room). If a player suddenly decides to mess everything up then you haven’t got much choice other than show them the door – no matter how imp they are to the club.
