inter.it in Italian says this...

It basicly says the surgery went perfect and he was operated by some doctor with the assistance of some Inter medical responsives...

Doesn't say anything about the time he'll be out though...

Some suggested until late April at least. It is not that credible but just something to keep in mind

Seeing him screaming in pain holding his left knee is an image I can't shake off. It kind of screwed my derby joy and I was leaving for abroad same day, and that image just kept on coming (does anyone have it?)

Also, I was optimistic when I saw him walking normally. However, I remembered that some years ago, Martin Palermo tore his ACL, but stayed on and even scored a goal, so I knew that won't mean much.

It really sucks seeing as he was having one heck of a stunning peroid and was one of the best defenders in the world.

Get well Rock!

I think our performance against Parma clearly shows how much he protected Cordoba, Burdisso and Maxwell. Even Matrix is finding that hard.

To be honest ass, although we miss him...we cant say our poor midfield is due to him being missing. Injuries and fatigue is my bet.

Well samuel was everwhere, he closed down deep in pitch and was much much safer than materazzi has been. It gives the midfielders alot more confidence when they know they have a near perfect wall behind them to clean up, who hardly ever makes a mistake, instead of a washed up materazzi who has been a shadow of his former self and who needs alot more help from the midfield even in standard situations.

The midfielders has to help out in defense alot more now than they had to when samuel was playing, and that obviously has alot of influence.

The absence of cordoba doesnt help either.

Ok. So what about when we do have the ball, you cant say our lack of creativity or lack of trying to hold posession is down to missing him too..

I hear what your saying though, I miss him too. But lets be honest, Kaka got him pretty bad, who got cordoba..crouch?

Yes, the wall fell and it has led to our fall.

Really hope that Samuel is fit for the whole of next season along with Cordoba.

Cant take anymore of these Clowns Matrix Burdisso and Rivas.

Get these blokes out of that squad and give likes of Bolzoni or Fatic a shot.

Rivas hasn't done anything wrong. He was very good again today.

I'd love to see Rivas get a chance to play w/ Walter. Walter has this charisma & such confident that when he's standing in front of JC, all other players only have to worry about moving forward, not back or upwards (hoof-up-long balls).

Needless to say, I miss him dearly.

Rivas has done okay, but he hasnt done anything out of the ordinary.

Samuel did that, he made the backline stable so the midfield could focus on other things than helping cleaning up constantly.

My dear friends. How was the first goal given. It wasnt even from a counter attack that Rivas could not have blocked Inzhagi.

It was largely due to him.
