Kojima has officially left Konami.

He announced a new studio, KojiPro, and confirmed that their first game is gonna be a PS4 exclusive.

That means PlayStation is going to get at least one new powerhouse. There we're predictions about this, but I didn't believe it. Huge move from PlayStation.

It's a PS4 console exclusive, which means the game will first launch on PS4 then on PC.

But never on XBoxOne nor Wii U.

Kojima said that he wants to make this game a franchise and Sony confirmed that it's a new Ip (no MGS nor Silent Hills) and if necessary they gonna help in the developpment. They publishing the game too.

This is going to be a big title for playstation. Reminds me of the PS3 era. At first the exclusives we're weak, then after 2-3 years they just start kicking in and one hit after another comes.

My L2 and R2 buttons broke I think.

When I try playing fifa the players are passing the ball kind of weird. Then I was checking the settings and L2 only works if I like smash it. R2 I click one time and it triggers like 5x.

Anyone else have this issue? any way to fix it? I went on the Sony site and was researching it. Seems common but they are assholes and you need a receipt.

First off Dualshock 4 is amazing.

Crzd: It may be that you have some setting on. The R2 and L2 button can be set to work on sensitivity. So the further you push them the more the effect is noticeable. This is really good for racing games as you don't want to be on full throttle all the time. Go to the controller settings on either the playstation or the game. I think it should be under settings-> devices

its weird because its sometimes an issue and sometimes the game/controller works fine. GameStop is giving 30 bucks in trade in. And best buy is selling them for $40 new. But will try what you are saying when I get home. I mean I barely ever play/touch my PS4. Very annoying that it might be broken

Were do I do that? It's weird worked fine yesterday. It just randomly acts up

Like I hit the sprint button and all they do is walk slowly and defend the ball. When I try passing it's like a fancy shitty pass that almost always gets stolen. When I go to shoot they sometimes try a fancy weak foot shot. Pisses me off as it working fine then it randomly changes to that bs

In that case you're just using a different controlles scheme. Make sure you always play with the same and don't change anything. If you're not sure than go into controller settings on fifa and you should be able to set everything there.

Mine's fine, only the battery life has faded quite bad. I still have a blue one that I rarely use, only when a friend comes over.

If you're still within a 1 year warranty period then you can send it to Sony to get it repaired. You can give the serial number and they can check if it's in warranty, no need for receipt. That's what I did when both of my controllers analogue left sticks had the rubber peeling off after a few months.

^ just as I said my controller is fine, it just died on me today Battery went to 0 and since then it just doesn't charge.

hm I had the same problem where the charging port was disconected for some reason. I opened up my controller and made sure everything was plugged in correctly. Maybe try that.

I tried that unplugged everything, put it back together and still doesn't charge :/

Luckily I have another controller which is virtually new as I rarely used it. Gonna buy some replacement usb parts and hope it fixes it. It's a shame dualshocks aren't very well built.. I went through about 6 PS3 controllers, and I've already owned 4 PS4 controllers, 3 of which had problems.

That sucks. I've been playing a lot and didn't have a lot of problems. My first one had that problem of the grips, but I almost destroyed it once because I'm a fucking maniac when I play FIFA and the other one (my beloved black and blue one) is still working really good. I've played regularly since the ps4 came out, so mine did pretty good.

Same here man, I play every day almost :/.. My black and blue one works fine though so at least I have 1 gamepad. I think I know how to fix the charging problem on the other one anyway... I bought a part for £7 from aliexpress so hopefully I will be able to replace the charging port when I open up the controller . If that works then I saved spending £40 on another controller.

For anyone else who will encounter this problem, this part is probably what you will need to buy and replace:

Dualshocks are very easy to disassemble and customise, which is a good thing.
