Get Witcher 2 first, since it's cheap and fun and doesn't look bad for a 2011 game. Not open world tho.

Witcher 3 is amazing so far. Great characters, great story, awesome soundtrack, wide variety of missions (and they don't seem repetitive at all), lots of dialog that can alter what happens in the story. Combat is fun and strategic as well. The world is huge, I'm at what is supposed to be the first area which is considered the smallest part of the game, and its fucking massive.

I think it was clear, that this game was going to be great. The studio really just didn't feel any pressure from a publisher and they knew they had their hardcore audience, but also felt attractive for the more casual gamer. They promoted it fairly well with the "free dlc" and the "for the real gamers" stuff (just like PS4 did) . All in all they just felt really confident putting that game out. They weren't afraid to delay it and got done with the game a few weeks ago and had time to polish it.

Also the predecessors were really good as well. I think CD project red showed how a AAA game should be developed just like GTA V showed that and how Fallout 4 will probably show. And it benefits the developers greatly financially speaking.

I'm stoked to pick the witcher up after my exams and put a good 100 hours into it in the first two weeks at least

I stopped playing at PS2 and obviously I could google that shit, but any info from you guys would be appreciated.

PS4 can't play PS3 games unless they're digital. Don't know about the XBone but it doesn't matter since it's not worth picking up compared to the PS4.

Well I'll put it this way: you can't put a ps3/360-disc into a ps4/xbox one and play it. However there is a streaming service for ps-devices that let's you stream older games. The library is limited though and it's a subscription based service that you have to pay on top of the ps-plus subscription. Ps-plus is about 50 euros and PS-Now (that's the name of the streaming service) is 20 a month or 45 if you pay for three months. So it's a little pricey. It is mostly PS3 games so the one's you missed out on. I think it available on all PS devices, but keep in mind that it isn't available in all regions. So you might wanna watch out for that.

Streaming games seemed strange to me but apparently it runs pretty smoothely if you have a stable internet connection. If you're interested in wich games specifically then I'll post a list later if I find one.

About xbox: I haven't heard of a service like that from them, but I think it's going to happen sooner or later.

Edit: I just checked playstations homepage and it seems you can also rent games with ps-now, but I don't know how that works. Also this thing is still in Beta, but it's an open Beta. Nevertheless here are the list of games.

Ps4 will also have lots of games from ps3 remastered, Last of us is already there, God of War 3 coming soon,...

Ofc i have too much time, ps3 is a lot cheaper now and go buy them cheap games (i got metal gear solid 4 for 4pounds )

Haha to everyone one buying remastered versions just buy a PS3 and get the game for 5-10 bucks used!!!

Hear they are remastering the batman games it's like um.... This should be free when you buy the new game or 20 bucks because that is how much they cost if I got it on the old systems. Trying to sell me a old game for 50-60 bucks is Bullshit

I also didn't notice that big of a difference between Ps4 last of us and PS3 one. Nor GTA5

THEY DONT LOOK MUCH BETTER !!! Its like an upconverted DVD on a blu ray player. Looks slightly better then the DVD but not something worth buying a 300 buck blu ray player at the time to get. Its still a FING DVD. Can you guys honestly tell me that the difference between the PS3 and the PS4 version of the game is that noticeable or knocked your socks off.

For a remake/remaster I want something like Twin Snakes on Game Cube which was a remake of Metal Gear Solid on PS1. It was totally remade and it had the gameplay of Metal Gear 2 !!! THAT was worth my 50/60 bucks. Hell that game was 100. Loved it so much. Or the Resident Evil remasters that were on dreamcast !!!!

Bumping up the specs and slightly better lighting isn't worth 50 bucks. I played some of the PSP remasters on PS3 and they looks like PSP games on a big ass screen...

I'll buy the new batman game remasters if they completely fix the graphics not a BS resolution bump. And add the switching between Batman/his allies that looks awesome in the trailer. Most companies just do some lame BS to the games.
