Well I got the chance to play destiny pretty early, since monday. And at first it's pretty interesting. The Graphics are good and so is the sound, but there are some flaws. First off the game seems way more enjoyable if you play it with other people. Being a lone wolf gets boring after some time. The Gameplay is kind of repetetive, but if you like grinding you might enjoy it. Now my major complaint is, that it's not an MMO at all. It has some tiny MMO aspects but it's more of a shooter than an MMO. I think it doesn't live up fully to the hype, but also it'd not a flop from what I've seen at least.

Actually gained like 20 pounds and become obsessed with it. So good just sucked it would crash all the fucking time on PS3

there are many great singleplayer FPSs that I played on my PC - sure, MP is fun - but the experience these games gave in the singleplayer modes was amazing.

Dragon Age:Origins vs. Skyrim vs. Witcher 2 - what are your preferences? Everytime I see somebody loving Skyrim and Dragon Age, I remember the times when we played Kotor, Gothic (especially 2) and Morrowind. Still like these games more, except the Witcher 2 really won my heart. Just watch how will Witcher 3 EAT Dragon Age 3 in sales and quality.

Skyrim bro.. Often if I wasn't doing story I'd just wander around for hours on end looking at the scenery and visiting isolated villages n shit. I played it again a few weeks back and started doing the same thing again. Shame I don't have a PC to play it on, as the graphics on there are crazy

That Skyrim's biggest strength, graphics and the landscape. It's a shame it's not that good of a game, as the story is generic fantasy at best, the characters are not memorable at all and it still possess one of the worst frp systems IMO.

I played it whole once, and it's enough.

Like I said, just wait for Witcher 3, it's going to be an open world too.

I did read some comments on Amazon. There are 2 different opinions: For some users it's one of the best games, for the others it's nothing special and pretty boring after some time because there's always the same to do.

I also wanted to buy it, but I am not a fan of shooters. It is too difficult for me to play those games with the ps-controllers.

Try out Borderlands 2. Similiar mechanics, funny dialogue and story, you can co-op your whole 'singleplayer' and it looks good with it's cel-shaded style. Oh, and it's cheaper than Destiny right now.

For Destiny we can't yet say how good it is, but I can say that BL2 is one of the best newer games.

but it just doesn't feel "MMO" enough. A lot of times, unless you have many devoted friends to do missions, is much too scrambled. You will be with 8 people, and none will be doing the same mission. Plus it does not even out the enemies (like diablo does to allow less experienced people to play with more experienced people), which causes you to have to be on the same level to have fun with friends. It is a polished game and def was/is fun, but now its feeling extremely repetitive.

The online crucibles are the only thing keeping me playing it now. (but even that seems mismatched when people have all crazy gear and kill me in one hit, yet i can't kill them with a whole clip)

You played Halo for story? Only shooter with a good story is Call of Duty. Destiny to me feels like Fall Out 3 which I loved mixed with Halo.

Destiny has 0 story mode. ITs hey go up that hill kill that thing now go pick up 10 of these things on the bottom of the hill. Do that for 15 levels. End of story mode.

Tho love the game play and the guns. Will probably sell it next week when FIFA 15 comes out.
