nah, you used to have a button for your player to run closer to the one with the ball so you can press the 'shot' button and if you did it the right time you would disposses him and also throw him on the floor, which was fun

now the same button he runs closer but that usually does nothing and also the AI is so stupid that it's better just for you to control the player 100% manually

so I would say it's harder to defend now (except the floater long balls are easier to defend)

Started again with RDR2, got stuck on 48% completion, after last weekend I'm on 64% completion. I forgot what an amazing game it is, now with my new tv and headset this game draws you into this world and I f*ckin love it. The sounds/the graphics hell even the weather got me buzzed although that could have come because I was as stoned as a shrimp. Can't wait to leave work and get back on it.

Im playing this (not much, but its my main game right now) and I've no idea how i've lasted, im finally away from the snow which has been the most boring part of any game I've ever played, if it wasn't for my work colleagues telling me how amazing this game was once you get past the snow I'd have uninstalled months ago.

So as I’ve previously mentioned, I’ve started playing Doom Eternal a couple weeks ago.
In the first 3 levels I got my ass mercilessly handed to myself. I replayed 2 levels on easy difficulty to collect some things I missed out on in the first walkthrough. Didn't realize fast travel vanishes after beating the entire level
After that I didn’t touch the game for a week and despite increasing the difficulty back to normal I breezed through the 4th level without dying once. Then I let another week pass and easily beat the 5th level, again without dying once. I’m not sure if this is some sort of glitch because it feels like enemies are dying way quicker than before. Maybe I just got good because I make full use of the entire arsenal now but it feels weird never the less.

Yeah the first chapter tests your patience. You can only really start playing in chapter 2, and even then it’s a bit of a grind. The game starts to get really good in chapter 3 though, especially when you discover St. Denis, but that may be even later on.
I absolutely love the random encounters, those are a lot of fun and really well made, probably the best ones in any Rockstar game. What kinda took me by surprise is how long this game is, gotta invest a lot and I mean A LOT of hours to beat it. I haven’t even finished it myself yet, but I made it to a point which I won’t describe now as it may contain spoilers, but those who beat the game will probably know what I’m taking about.
The worst part is that you can’t run in the camps which is really fucking annoying.

Doom Eternal has different weapons for different enemies. I'd read what goes best with what on the internet.

Any idea what is the best emulator I can buy?

My kid is obsessed with the X-men

Any emulator systems to buy one that can play X-Men Arcade or Marvel Vs Capcom 2

I am looking at Super Console X as it looks like it comes with most games before Dreamcast to play.

I was going to buy a Nintendo wii and mod it. That is what I did in college and had a get emulator system. Just the prices of nintendo Wii’s went from $20-50 in my area to 100-159

I bought the RG351P on amazon a few months ago and enjoy it. It can play every system from Atari to Dreamcast, you just need to buy a SD card as the one it comes with isn't good. I play a lot of N64 and PS1 games on it.

Never bought a dedicated emulation box. Setting up a raspberry pi is a fun little project if you're into that. Alternatively, the playstation classic is useless out of the box, but if you can pick one up for cheap it's very easy to mod it to play all old systems up through PS1 (Dreamcast is hit and miss). I picked one up for $20 or $30 a while back and set it up for a buddy's kids w/ all the good NES, SNES, N64, PS1, etc. games

How well does it run N64? My handheld doesn't run it perfectly, and I do own a real N64 but it looks like shit on my HD TV, so I wouldn't mind something that can run it smoother and look nice on a big TV. I see those PS Classics on sale basically everywhere that carries them.

My only gripe with it is the controller that comes with it is the pre-analog sticks PSX controller, I would have to upgrade it I could.

From what I remember I tried a few of the big name games (Mario Kart, one of the Zeldas, Golden Eye) and they worked fine, but I seem to remember hearing some other games don't work as well, so maybe I just happened to pick a few of the 'good' games.

I have a USB adapter thing that lets me use a PS4 controller on the Switch and that same adapter worked on the PS classic so that's what I used when I was getting it setup.

the Super Console X is $65 and comes with 40k games on it. I mean the Nintendo Wii with home-brew can play Gamecube and Nintendo Wii. I just don't want to spend the time downloading all those games. + at a age that getting sued by those companies for downloading that shit would fk me

I have seen videos online of people playing 4k versions of Zelda Twilight Princess but doesn't say what system they are doing it on

Fucking A. The treasure hunts are cool, when your high as a rock. Or hunting beavers and then get into a firefight with a whole hillbilly village over something stupid.

I swear because of this game I'm probably going to try to get my hunters license. Going full joe rogan

I finished Resident Evil 7 Biohazard a couple of days ago. The game doesn't look like the other RE games but I loved every part of it. A pretty scary story ,a pure survival horror.

That mothafucka who keeps sayin ''aaaaaammmmmm goooonna getchaaaa'' really pissed me of.

I'd say it's a reimagening of the first RE, that's why we got RE2 and RE3 remaked, but RE7 was trying to capture the essence of RE1. Well, doesn't matter, good game, I reckon RE8 will be a blast as well.

I've been playing (albeit very slowly) Wasteland 3 and I like it more than any Fallout game.

Strategy games kinda vanished. Warcraft 3 reforged was a mess, the only still reliable startegy series are Crusader Kings and Total War.

@pajo: the Avengers game was made with paywalls in mind. I wouldn't buy it
